OtterBox Defender Cell Phone Case for Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Grey/Sage

It was supposed to be Sage/Gray it's white and gray. But other than that it's perfect. Arrived in a timely manner fits the phone like a glove. I have tried various different type cases but always come back to otterbox. I simply like the built in clear protection for the screen rather than the ones you apply directly to the phone more than any other feature. This case reliably provides protection without making it impossible to hear while on the actual phone. Kudos to Otterbox for always producing a quality case. This one is actually a replacement for the last gray and white one after the Husky thought it made a great chew toy. He completely trashed the case but not a scratch on the phone. (He's been known to gnaw on a tree trunk and has eaten every toy we've gotten him, so it proves to me the case works) Shame it's not the sage one though.

Have used these for years and never had a problem

Great case, only thing I have an issue with is that the center button on your phone has a cut out for the plastic screen protector in bedded in the case which causes just to get between that screen in your cell phone screen. But there's no other way around it. That's why I bought one the glass screen protectors to make sure that the desk between the plastic screen in my cell phone screen doesn't scratch the hell out of my phone.

Despite being very rugged and having a beveled edge raised enough to save from faceplants, I'm not a huge fan of this case after a few months of use for a few primary reasons:1. Screen protector is nowhere near as sensitive as other plastic films or tempered glass. It feels real "draggy" and wears over time, becoming much less sensitive2. Makes my phone too bulky to fit in my Sak Iris wallet :(3. Micro USB plug cover is initially stiff, causing downward pressure on the plug which I imagine might stress the contact4. Colors are uglyOtterboxes are popular for a reason so I hate to be so down on this but I had a Caseology case and tempered glass screen protector before installing my Note 5 in the Defender and that combo not only felt better but I could tuck my phone away in many more pockets/purses/bag compartments

Otter box always works. The issue with this particular model is eventually stretching and out of shape (the exterior only). But otter box will honor their product defaults. Another is, if you keep your phone for many years, they wont have the case for your old phone any longer, or they wont have the color you want. But it does work and it does protect your phone.

This is a nice case. The rubber isn't as soft as the cases I've purchased in the past. It's very slippery. Otherwise I would have gave this case 5 stars.

Dropped phone several times and it survived.

Been using these for years. If you have the dropsies like me. you better get total protection for your phone.
