The product exceeded the description on Amazon. It is exactly what I hoped in would be. I had seen some comments that the strap was too long. I do not understand this, unless there has been a change of design. The strap was very easy to alter to the correct length and I am only 5 foot 9!! I would have no hesitation in recommending the case. Brilliant!!

Very nicely made with nice genuine leather smell with a bit of patina. Nice lining and fastenings especially for a good price. Think the strap might prove to be a bit thin over time but all in all very pleased.

I've been looking for a "man bag" for a while; I usually take a small rucksack everywhere with me, but have wanted something in a more messenger bag / satchel style for times and travels when I didn't need the full 30 litres of carrying space. Well, this hits the mark. It's made from a really nice piece of leather that you can tell will only improve in appearance with age and wear, which is something you can't say about too many things in life, and it's a very well made piece of kit. It reminds me of my first schoolbag (in a good way). Minor niggles - the strap loops are a little fiddly as they're perhaps a little too close beneath the buckles, and there's only one hole on the straps, but one of the reasons I chose this particular model of bag over another similarly styled one by the same manufacturer was that the other bag had similar buckles and straps, but the whole strap connected, buckles and all, to the bag under them with press studs, and by comparison, this is a much more secure fastening. I'd also have liked the exterior front pocket to be deep enough to hold my phone while closed, and the two small compartment pockets on the inside might have been just a little deeper too, but as I say, these are minor issues and not deal breakers - overall I'm delighted with my new baggie, and I can't wait for an excuse to get it out and show it off! I would definitely consider buying more J. Wilson kit on the strength of this purchase, and would have no reservations about recommending them to anyone else looking for quality leatherware. Go on - treat yourself!

Quality leather bag with plenty of space inside

Once I stopped smelling the leather the bag looks very classy and looks more than the price paid. Strap is perfect when adjusted ( someone complained about it being too long, not sure what they’re doing) Stitching seems to be of a high standard. My bag has natural markings from the animal so it shows it’s really leather. Compartments store my I-pad , phone, wallet and more

I’m very pleased with this bag, it looks pretty much as I expected although I am hoping that over the next 12 months or so it softens up a little.

Not happy with the distressed look.I was too distressed.Returned and it was refunded.

Not too big and just right for lap top and connections, etc.. .
