GenUltimate! Test Strips: a reliable and inexpensive alternative for OneTouch Ultra blood glucose meters.
“GenUltimate! Value Priced Test Strips” are a generic version of the OneTouch Ultra line of test strips, and are intended for use only with Lifescan Inc.'s OneTouch Ultra, Ultra2, and Ultra Mini blood glucose meters. I have been using these test strips for several months now and have been very satisfied with their performance.“GenUltimate! Value Priced Test Strips” work perfectly not only with my OneTouch Ultra2 blood glucose meter, but also with my older OneTouch UltraSmart meter, which is not listed on the GenUltimate label. They respond just as quickly, and with the same degree of accuracy, as the much more expensive brand-name test strips I was using previously.I recently purchased a pack of 100 “GenUltimate! Value Priced Test Strips” strips from Amazon.com for about half the cost of 50 brand-name test strips that I was paying full price for previously. Now I can test three times a day – every day – for about 1-1½ months before I have to buy more. That is an immense cost benefit for me and anyone else on a fixed income.“GenUltimate! Value Priced Test Strips” are just as accurate, reliable, and quick to respond as their brand-name cousins. This is an excellent product at a bargain price. Most highly recommended.

Best generic for OneTouch
I love my One touch testing meter. I can not afford to buy the brand strips. This generic is a life saver. I can buy enough for the month for about half of the cost of 50 test strips from brand. These work just as well if not better. I remember having bad strips with brand. and it is frustrating when the strips give you an error code. Brand strips are about $1 each strip unless you have good insurance. this generic set of strips is about 15 cents per strip. which makes it hurt way less if you do the test wrong. Thank you for making such a great product. Dont stop making them!!! Please!!!

Very useful substitute for more expensive strips
I was very recently diagnosed with diabetes so I didn't have tons of comparisons, nor did my insurance want to cover more than one strip a day, which seems pointless to me while I'm trying to learn and also working on using a ketogenic diet to control my blood sugar. I ended up using these without a single comparison strip leftover because I had run out. I wasn't sure how accurate they might be, but I went with it. I used an app to log my numbers and the app has a 30-day average guess. By the time it started to go down, I was having another A1C done, and it said 5.8 the day blood was drawn, and the results came back as 5.8 - down from 6.9 two months prior! In the several weeks since, it's continued to average down, so I'm hopeful that next test will show completely out of diabetes or prediabetes range. All that said, I do have an anemia that makes A1C and at home meters less accurate, but these strips have been pretty accurate according to how I feel or what I ate - if I ate very little carbs, an hour later the number is basically back to where it was before the meal and if I ate a heavier amount of carbs, an hour later it will still be at a higher spike. I wouldn't say that means these are the most accurate strips ever and woohoo these will know everything, but I think they're pretty useful and accurate enough to be a helpful tool. I'm not too sure about how well they would show me if my blood sugar was low, because it might be off based on my anemia, since I've not eaten all day and suddenly felt extremely hungry and shaky and the lowest these have read is 85, but again, this anemia makes any measurement not so great. In a case like that, I would just do what anyone should do for hypoglycemia and find something helpful that is quick and then make sure I ate a meal. Biggest takeaway is that these strips trend up and down as expected, and should be good replacements for the more expensive strips.

It was good for the price and did not have to much issues with mine.. Help me save couple $$$
Well the most important thing to know about this Product is that the AMOUNT OF STRIP is exactly what you're getting for the Price and you can't beat that... But you do have somewhat Error Reading on some of them. I would say maybe the most 10 Error per Container, If that... And it's going to be also base on how you take care of the STRIPS. I noticed that when I open a container I can't let it sit in Hot and Cold Places for to Long.. When I do that I'll start to get Bad Reads..

Equivalent to the name brand at less than 1/4 of the price.
The brand name off insurance was $150 for 100 strips. The prescription was written with a mistake that gave me 100 strips for 90 days. As a newly diagnosed diabetic, this means I was supposed to gain control of my sugar levels testing my blood only one time a day. Finding this product allows me to test as often as feel I is needed. Instead of a just a number that is vague as to what my body is doing; the test unit is now a tool I can use as I learn about my diabetes and my body. It works the same as the name brand. I don't notice any differences other than price: $150 vs $15. Thank you for making this affordable.

Super Great Test Strip
If you need test strips for OneTouch, Ultra, Ultra 2, and UltraMini Meters these are fantastic. I was so tired of trying to get my test strips from insurance companies on time, and listening to their lame excuses so I tried these. Guess what, they work better than what I was receiving from my insurance provider. It was so worth me paying for them and having them anytime I was was running low that I totally went to these. If you use test strips check these out. They fit into the glucose reader unit so easily and come with complete instructions for their use.

Better than original test strips and cheaper
I have been a diabetic for sometime and medicare and I have gone around and around about my test strips and refilling them, my doctor tells me test twice a day and medicare tells me once a day. Even though I got new prescription from doctor to test twice a day , medicare still wont allow CVS to fill prescription til 8/1. I sure am glad I found this on Amazon, product works great and shipping was fast. Thanks
