GHS Electric Lap Steel Strings G Tuning 16-58

I had to replace the light gauge factory installed strings on my lap steel guitar because the B string unexpectedly broke when I was tuning. I did some research and went with recommended heavier gauge strings. I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent quality of the strings and the improved sound. This product price is really a bargain when you consider the pleasure of good sound from my lap steel guitar after the string change. The 2 Chicago Music Exchange stickers included with the strings are a nice simple touch, it made me smile, and all the more happier for selecting this product.

Nice heavy strings. I bought a SX lap steel that comes with strings on it. They are way to light of a gauge for this guitar. you have to put way to much pressure on the tone bar to get the strings to actually ring, and by that time you've stretched them out of tune. I should have bought these right away.

If You're buying a new lap steel like I just did then these are a must. Their really good strings I guess since I've only started play a lap steel but I've been a Guitarist for the past 50 years. With this new SX I got, things couldn't be finer. 5 Stars from Me on Both .......

You'll want these strings if you buy a Rogue Lap Steel Guitar. They are heavier then the ones that come on the guitar and will hold there tune longer.Jesse
