Works well and the strap goes as small as I needed for my 5 month old

I'm really happy with this headlamp and bought more for my nephews and little cousins for cave exploring. I've used mine for tent camping, an hour or two in a cave, under-the-house repairs, a back-up security flashlight. I'm happy with battery light and brightness, and how easy it is to toggle between white and red light. The elastic fits my extra big head and holds the light in place (sitting, walking--it would slip if running, I think) and also fits the little kids I got it for. I like that it comes in colours so each brother gets a different one to keep track of.

I bought this purple camo headlamp for my toddler daughter because likes helping me with home projects and wanted a "head light" like Dad. The product is perfect for that use - built well enough and lights up well enough. Shortly after purchase, however, we had an issue where the activation button didn't function - it would only register a press once every 20 presses or so. I contacted the manufacturer through Amazon and told them of the issue. They immediately dispatched a replacement item.Thanks Blitzu for an adorable product and for taking care of your customers!

For a sweet little girl and her favorite color purple.

Bought the purple model for my 4yr old daughter and she loves it. She's used it twice so far. She can turn on the white light mode, but has trouble getting into the red mode.Pros:Fits well on a child or adult.Fairly lightweight.Nice simple design and quality parts.Tilt/hinge feature seems pretty stable, but haven't seen my daughter run around with it on yet.I like that no parts come completely detached when changing the batteries... nothing to drop in the dark.Cons:Must hold down button for a few seconds to use red light. Personally would rather have it accessible by just clicking through the white light modes.The red light mode has the following sequence: flashing, SOS, steady. Entering the red light mode sets it to the first mode (flashing) every time, and doesn't return to the last red light mode you might have been using. Personally, for how my family uses the red light (when trying not to disturb others during camping), it makes more sense if the steady mode were first, then flashing, then SOS.Product description says it's "waterproof" with an IPX rating of 5, but that doesn't mean waterproof, only water resistant to spraying/splashing. It must be at IPX-7 before it can be called waterproof. Perhaps if a small rubber gasket were added to the inside to seal it up more, that would make it actually waterproof.Overall though, a good little light for the price!
