Easy to use
Nice tool to work on master links. Better than a pair of pliers.

The right tool for the job!
I purchased these Tusk master clip pliers to install a new master clip on a chain that had broken previously. I didn't want the hassle of trying to wedge the clip on with a screwdriver, nor use a pair of regular pliers. These pliers slip right over one pin as well as the closed end of the clip and with a simple squeeze, the clip slips onto the pins. It is important to use a chain press to force the link far enough onto the rollers to expose the little channel that the master clip fits into. Once that's done, its an easy job. Took me all of 2 minutes. The only reason I didn't give it a five-star rating is that the pliers are a bit stiff and I had to work a bit to manage them into position.

Saves time and headache.
If you deal with clip type master-links at all this tool makes getting them back together much easier, they don't slip off like normal pliers.

Better than not having them.
They're quite helpful in removing the quick link, which I was previously doing with a flathead screwdriver, a "custom" pair of pliers I "machined" for the task, or just tongue in groove pliers. These purpose built pliers are a big improvement and I havent damaged a link yet. However, reinstalling is a bit trickier, although that could be due to my specific application. I have never used a different set or worked on any other projects requiring these, so I will only say this: Yes, I would buy them again.
