This is the first sling I've ever gotten on with. It's so easy to use and my baby is so safe, secure and comfy in there, it doesn't take her long to fall asleep. It works amazing for colic as well. Onces your ring slings in place you can pop it in your baby bag and just quickly put it on while out and about. My baby goes straight from her car seat into the sling when doing school runs or shopping.

My baby loves this carrier, so I do, too. We have a structured carrier that is more comfortable for me to wear, but that she dislikes. This carrier is soft, secure, and allows baby to see the world while still facing me (which seems more a comfortable and natural position for her). It’s cool and breathable, and the material is soft. (My baby tends to get too warm, but we have not had this problem even in humid weather).What I don’t like so much is the feeling of the sling on just one shoulder, and all the fabric across my back. But if you’re not bothered by sensory input like that, you probably will love this carrier. For me, it’s a minor complaint, and I get over it because it’s certainly more comfortable than walking around with an unhappy baby.A final note—other reviewers said the fabric was slippery and so the sling needed more frequent adjustment. I did not have this problem; the sling feels quite secure to me. For reference, my baby weighs 13 pounds. I actually appreciated being able to make fairly rapid adjustments according to my squirmy baby’s changing preference, from legs in to legs out to hip carry, without much trouble.In all, this is a high quality carrier from an ethical company at a fair price. You can pay 2-3 times as much for lovely designer carriers, but I personally didn’t want to risk shelling out that much for an item my baby wasn’t guaranteed to love. As it turns out, she loved this one and we are happy with the purchase.

I don’t find this ring sling to be the greatest quality… baby ends up slowly slinking down eventually, material doesn’t work nicely with you when trying to set it up (becomes very easily twisted and jumbled up)…. Ring itself could be of better quality as well… I also find this hurts my back 10x more than a baby wrap does (bought the sollybaby wrap after purchasing this one)… Splurge on a nicer ring sling if you can.

LOVE this product! It’s super sturdy, there are several ways to use it, and it’s very high quality. I bought it in two colors! The customer service is also spot on. I purchased a newly released color, and on their Instagram they put a sales code for the day after I purchased. They contacted me and reimbursed the discounted price right away. Would definitely recommend and will most likely be buying in other colors in the future :)

As you can see I own 6 Nalakai slings! That’s how awesome they are! Super comfy and use friendly! The bonus for me is the pocket...quick access to a pacifier and I’ll put my keys and phone in there also. The fabric is super soft and the colors are gorgeous!
