14" Resin Woven Hanging Basket, Natural Wicker

I was looking for lightweight hanging baskets that would not disintegrate or need a new liner each year, and these seemed to fit the bill. The planted baskets are easy to lift and move when needed, which is what I was looking for. I purchased them after reading good reviews from others and I am not disappointed. They do need daily watering as there is no water reservoir, but the plants have done quite well. This is the first season, but the baskets are still in great shape and I fully expect to re-use. Also, they look nice/natural although they are plastic.

This GORGEOUS, durable planter looks just like actual rattan, but is made of much stronger material that is water-proof and not likely to ever rot. It is quite heavy when filled with wet soil and plants, so love that it's reinforced with a metal frame and has a metal chain hangar. I chose to add another layer of plastic to the nicely-fitting, plastic lining that comes with it, and also added a water-absorbing mat called a "soil-moist mat" to the bottom to lessen the amount of watering it will need since it doesn't drain. It will require a heavy duty hook to hang it from my bedroom ceiling, due to the combined weight of the planter, soil and plants I chose.

This basket is fine and looks nice. However, the liner is a weird plastic and doesn't look very good. I took it out at first not realizing it was meant to stay in.

Very overpriced, poor quality, would not hold up well to prolonged use.

I got the baskets yesterday. They look very nice and I plan to use them next year. People have complained about the plastic liner in the baskets. This type of plastic is very durable. It seems to be the same plastic as the plastic bags new bed pillows come in. (I save the plastic bags that bed pillows come in due to they hold up very well for storing items for years.) The baskets do look like wicker, and I am looking forward to using them.

The baskets look great. I would have given it 5 stars except for the fact that out of 4 that I ordered, one came in without the hanger. I have to admit that I didn't open the box that they came in right away, as I wasn't ready to put them up until the weather broke. It was a disappointment to find the one basket incomplete.

Very nice looking. They seem sturdy. One wonderful feature is that the chains can be easily hooked and unhooked. My houseplants, including several orchids, will have their summer vacation in these pots. Now let us see if the baskets can withstand the rigors of summer.UPDATE: I have used these outside now for TWO New England summer seasons. They have upheld beautifully. I have just washed them thoroughly and taken them inside for the winter. Come spring they will go outside again and will give my houseplants a safe place to have their summer vacation. VERY VERY PLEASED WITH THESE.

Had always wanted sturdy hanging baskets that held up to the elements. I’ve had all kinds of baskets and all faded or fell apart. These were built to last and look great in my garden!!

Only 3x starsLooked better in the images, not worth the value of money I payed for them, chains a bit poor, for the size of the baskets.With them being plastic, they will last a lot longer life span than some of the other brands, but also would have been better if there was a choice in different colours
