The Philips Norelco 5000 Shaver is a great shaver for those who are in search of a shaver. Some of the great aspects of the shaver include the ease of the shaver moving smoothly along your face as it's on a kind of ball joint, the fact that the shaver can be easily washed with the press of a button, and the fact that it can get wet without any problems. A bit of warning, however - packaging is very minimal. If your shaver shows up wrapped up in bubble wrap in an Amazon package, there's a reason for it, I think it was an eco-friendly initiative. That being said, the Philips Norelco 5000 Shaver is a solid shaver, worth the buy.

The razor works great

Tengo una afeitadora Philips Norelco desde hace 10 años aproximadamente y ya estaba halando el vello en cada afeitada. Compré esta por marca y precio, pero hasta ahora solo he sentido diferencia en la suavidad (obviamente ya no hala), pero no corta el vello de la barba tan a ras como esperaba. No sé cómo lo harán otras afeitadoras, entonces no puedo decir que esté mala o no. Lo que sí puedo decir es que hay que pasar muchas veces por la misma parte para un corte a ras.

I only used it for a few days but so far so good. It only comes with a charger. No trimmer attachment or case.

Product fully charged was incapable of shaving my beard when it was only one day of growth. Burned my neck to the point it took 3 days of treatment with aloe lotion to treat it. Was in process of sending it back , but was interrupted by things beyond my control.

The razer and charger come wrapped in bubble wrap with a brief instruction sheet. The razer itself works great and the price was right. I would hate to pay more just to get a pretty box.

Purchase this razor for a Christmas gift. It came wrapped in bubble wrap, not in a box from the factory. Kind of shappy.
