Difficult to keep from turning in the door.
While it is not fair to say they are difficult to keep from turning in the door I used them in (basically a paper door) I could barely keep them from turning while tightening them. Once I did manage to squeeze the shoulder to lock them in the door, it was very easy to mount the platform. Likely they would work well in a metal backing.

Great idea
The legs that are supposed to collapse don't. I had to reach in and hold it from turning with bent needle nose pliers. Otherwise great

Useless
Pieces won’t compact when you screw in the screw without having to hold it with pliers. Then wouldn’t tighten up.

Weak and Poorly Made
The flange on these is too thin to get a grip on for installing them, and then they twist and break instead of expanding and gripping. Useless. Buy the Hillman brand ones instead.
