CARNAL (Exiled Book 1)

I am reading these books and I am so impressed with the storyline. I don’t feel that I want these to end, I read all the time and Carnal and Rosies adventure surpassed my expectations, I was sad at the ending as I would have liked to see them happy skipping back and forth between dimensions.

I love Ms Danann's writing style, she creates interesting and likeable characters, in different settings. However, without giving away too much... I could only give the book 3 stars as it didn't have the HEA I want when reading a romance. I understand the desire to avoid the same old hackned formula but felt that there were other ways of achieving it. That being said, I still intend to read the next book in the series.

Totally new series from Black Swan Knights but the same alive characters, this was so disturbing I felt that I was learning how other dimensions suffer and survive along with the family, again a book that made you want to cry out loud, added in amongst the laughs.

Another amazing tale to join the long list of books. Couldn't put it down.

I have only read two books of this author and Carnal was my first one. And to the very end I thought it was beautifully written and rather refreshing compared to many poorly written similar stories of this genre. However, there is an expectation when reading books such as this, the finale (which was beautifully written - nothing wrong with the storytelling) lets the writer's emotional expectations down, its a negativity that I did not want to experience and when writing a book with a such a terrible ending, the reader should be warned. The only reason I decided to read the next book to this series, it is exactly because Victoria Danann appears to be an amazing writer, and in my heart I wanted to feel some positivity associated with this writer. Craze is written as beautifully as Carnal, but with the good ending that the reader wants to experience. I have a very stressful job, with a lot of negativity associated to it. I deal with life and death, and the last thing I wanted to have an ending that gave me the feelings that this book did. A bad ending associated to the key hero should be forewarned If you want a good ending, do not read this book, or if you do read it, just do not get attached to Carnal, it will disappoint you.

Yes I didn't know these books were out there but did I cry over carnel.the story is great at explaining where Rosie went but really dead omg

Carnal is a spin off from The Black Swan series. It was great meeting a whole cast of new characters to fall in love with, and also get to know Rosie a lot better.Rosie asked Kellareal to find her a place to escape to, after her break up with Glen. He takes her to a dimension where the Exiled live. They are Hybrids he rescued from extermination; it is here that Rosie comes into her own. It is the perfect place for her to grow up emotionally, and with the influence of the Exiled’s leader Free and his son Carnal she does just that.This story will take you on an emotional rollercoaster, I was laughing, crying & gasping in equal measure.Carnal was a great read, the characters were marvellous. I totally fell for Carnal, and I found a whole new affection for Rosie.I am so looking forward to reading more in this new series.

Once again I find myself lost in the world Ms. Danann creates and I found myself at a loss for words when I completed this story. I love how the characters draw you in and you become a part of their wonderful existence. You will find humor, loyalty, intelligence, passion, compassion and pain in this storyline. I think the creativity Ms. Danann has with her writing skills is unmatched by any writer I have encountered. This story made me smile, laugh and shed a few tears. I do not want to give away any secrets about the story however, I loved the novel but would have enjoyed a few changes to the ending. I highly recommend this series to those who have not found it. The books will rock your world. I can’t wait to read the next one to see what journey she will take us on.
