Add grip to your youngster's Power Wheels! An easy mod and you won't eat through those cheap plastic wheels PW supply's you with. This 12.5" bike tire will work on any 12" PW's plastics tire. After trimming the bead off the bike tire, I place the bike tire in the microwave for about 15-20 seconds to make it softer. At first, fitting the tire onto the PW's tire seemed impossible. Until you figure out the trick. Place the PW's tire on the ground and put one side of the bike tire on the wheel. Hold it there with your foot firmly planted and work the other side. Rotate the wheel 45 degrees and keep working it down. Always keeping the wheel planted to the ground with your foot. You'll figure it out. This is how I did it with 4 wheels. The first time took 5 mins fighting with it. After that I had the tires on in less than a minute on the other 3. Here's some how too pictures

If you are planning on using these to improve the wheels of your kid’s power wheels, you better eat your wheaties when you decide to do this and have a heat gun. It isn’t easy but they actually do fit. The power wheels dune racer is much more quiet.

I opted for the widest knobby -- 2.75 inch -- and they improved the stability of my trailer by 150%. Seriously. Pocket bike tires are pricey here on Amazon but I found them for $20 each with free shipping on the big auction site.
