Perfect Canvas
Still debating if I want to skate this one since this board was more of an experiment, but this old school deck is the perfect canvas and I plan to get more soon to paint bigger projects.

Skateboard not a bad deck.
Pretty good board a little on the heavy side but great for if you want to go skate pools bowls any of you want to go straight a little bit of street style you can probably get away with it. Not half bad board. Haven't had any issues. I've had probably four now. They do wear and tear but they are good boards and they're a little bit cheaper than the brand ones with logos.

No valid reason Not to get one...
We have gotten a few of these now, and they have been tested and approved. Another reviewer clued us in to the wheelbase issue, in that it is somewhat narrow. Traditionally, boards of this era were at 16" or so. Ours shipped at 13.5", so it was drilled it out for old school trucks at 15.5" before I hit concave. Basically put each truck 1 inch from where it is. Now the front axle sits where it would have 80s style. Indys are bolted wide on the 6 hole baseplate, and my gosh this deck is a veritable surf skate. After trying several wheels we settled on 65mm 84a. However smaller 55mm 80a cruisers were super fun too. This setup is manual city, you can hold wheelies forever..For the sake of an honest and credible review we must also mention the cons. At this price point you can drill it out without agony, but you get what you pay for. A California board shop would probably sell this as a blem in that there is a small drip on the paint, there are small clamp marks on the top where they dipped it, but this is covered by your grip tape. Bottom line, you get these to thrash anyway, or for artwork, or whatever! Get one, with Indy 169ers and Bones bushings with Minilogo pivot cups. Or, 180mm RKP trucks will suffice. Drill it out don't be worried. Moose TGM will get it to you quick too. We like them and you will, too... And remember, this is your skateboard, there are many others like it but this one is yours!

Great for creatives
My son loved being able to customize this deck. He rode it daily for a month when it started to delaminate on the side. He fixed it with some wood glue and he's back skating on every possible surface outside and around the house!

Old School Feel
Nice board and fun to ride. I enjoy the feeling when skating. Brings me to a happy personal association in the past. This board is indeed a time machine get on board The Nostalgia Express.
