Really Works!
I love this hair dye! I will be using it from now on! I did not think it would work for me, but it did. My only regret is that I did not find it sooner!

Turns your hair red.
I followed the directions precisely. This product turned my light brown hair to a deep red. I have been using dish liquid, baking soda and a $30 bottle of purple shampoo to get the red out. It’s been several days and it’s still red. It’s an organic product and if a red look is ok becomes it’s organic then great. Just not the natural look I was going for.

Henna
It doesn't give my hairs dark brown color. My hairs become orange . But it is good for healthy hairs.

Great way to touch up low lights
My hair is naturally dark brown and I am satisfied with using my regular hair dye brand to cover the grays. I got this to experiment with touching up my low lights that are more of a chocolate brown. For that purpose, it has worked great. I used only half of each packet each time since I was not looking to dye my hair per se, nor cover the grays. From the perspective of low lights, it has worked so well and I can retain the freshness of that tone using this product. My hair was left smooth and soft. I didn't experience any dryness which is what I am typically wary of when touching up low lights. There is no stripping of the natural color and altering the texture of one's hair. I could just use my regular shampoo and conditioner subsequently without needing any deep conditioning or keratin to undo the damage from low lights. It is definitely a better and more natural option that I can do by myself at home. I made sure to wear gloves since henna can dye your hands for several weeks. This has also worked better than traditional henna in that there is far less of the brassy or reddish effect one finds with typical henna preparations. I do use a blue shampoo to take out the brassiness in my hair from dyeing etc. And my blue shampoo worked well on the low lights I had refreshed with this product too. In general, the reddish tone was far more subdued than regular highlighting/lowlighting products. I have always avoided henna till now since I've seen people's hair go so red and orange and that would just be too much for me. But this has not had that effect on my hair.

Made hair turn BURNT ORANGE NOT PINK
HERBATINT HENNA COLOR I did as follows on package directions..my hair is to mid back length so it said use both color packs..Following all of it to the TIME..I rinsed only my hair as per box instructions and walaNo PINK only a light burnt ORANGEMY HAIR COLOR IS BRUNETTE. SO IT DOES NOT COVER COLOR.. AND DOES NOT COVER COLOR OF GREY.. IT CERTAINLY WAS A BAD CHOICE.SADLY I DONT RECOMMEND.I HAVE ALWAYS USED THE HERBATINT COLORS IN A BRUNETTE.. SO ILL JUST KEEP ON WITH THAT..SORRY IT DONT WORK😟

Bright red !
I ordered Auburn Red, followed the directions and my hair came out bright red. I will buy this in a different color when my hair needs doing again as this works really well. My hair color I call it mousy brown with a lot of gray and is stubborn when it comes to hair dyes and perms so I left it on for the full 90 minutes. It suggests 60 to 90 minutes on the box. I have very short hair and only needed one packet (it comes with 2) actually I could of used 1/2 a packet but since this was my first time trying this I did what the directions said. You will need gloves, shower cap or plastic wrap I used plastic wrap and that worked well. I like that this is chemical free, didn't smell and odor. If you have a full head of hair that's gray this color will cover it well. Don't rip the box open the directions are on the inside you will need to use scissors to cut it on the dotted line.

Probably won’t use again tbh
For those who have never used henna, this is like a clay mask.I followed the other review’s suggestion of leaving dye mixture to sit before applying to hair strands. I let it sit for 5-10 min then applied it to hair. I left it on for 2 hours+ and ended up with orange and brown highlights. I wanted it to be a ginger color so I am a bit upset with the results but it didn’t look that bad.I was rooting for a bright color though. I started off with level 10 blonde hair and I wanted the all-over-orange box color and I didn’t get that. The ends were bright orange but the top of my hair was a brownish color.Henna is unpredictable so it is what it is.These henna dyes are too much of a hassle for me to ever want to go through this process again. I’ve waisted hours using these dyes only to get different results every time. Adore dye, here I come!

Gave me rich, deep brown hair and blended my white hairs
About 10% of my hair is a very bright white. Not gray, but white. It is mainly in my middle part and along my temples. I noticed I had a lot of hair fall when I would use conventional hair coloring and wanted something that would give me coverage without making my hair fall out. I have been using henna and indigo colors to keep my very white hairs blended for about a year. I've tried varying different brands from here on Amazon and from other locations. Before using Herbatint Henna Color Organic Hair Dye, I had colored my hair using pure henna, giving it a reddish orange hue and make my white hairs a translucent coppery kind of look.Herbatint Henna Color Organic Hair Dye in Rich Brown helped to blend my white hairs and gave my hair an even, rich brown color. I followed the instructions using both packets, applying it for 90 minutes. It managed to cover some of my white hairs but didn't quite get them all. The directions state to use a two-step method of using pure henna and following up with this brown color. If you have very stubborn white hair and want full coverage, I would say this is the way to go. While I am very happy with my hair color, this alone will not cover stubborn white hair.
