Reported 'defects' are solvable.
No point in full review as there are enough already. However, there are a couple of things worth pointing out:Water bottles (particularly if they narrow somewhere towards the top) can be held in place by pulling over the loop/strap (see photo)Waist belt doesn't slip if you first adjust roughly with back strap, and then cinch up with side straps. Also easier to adjust on the fly this way.

I recommend it
I bought this for dog walking and hiking and it’s great as I hate back packs. I carry water for the dogs and me, money, phone, poo bags, biscuits, spare collar and lead, hand gel and everything I carry in my handbag and still room to spare. It is sturdy and well made. Tall water bottles do tend to slip out of the bottle holder but there’s a D clip on the side so I’ve just threaded a band through that to slip over the bottle top. Job done. I’d recommend it.

Just what I needed
I bought this as an alternative to a day pack to keep weight off my shoulders, also stops my back getting sweaty in hot countries. Plus you can access things easily on the go.It's nice and roomy without being too big. It's well thought out and well made. It's also nicely padded, without being too bulky. Excellent for the price. The straps are ridiculously long. I can understand that on the waist strap to accommodate different people, but I don't see why the tension straps on the water bottles are so big as you can't got a bigger bottle in there. I'll be trimming the straps a bit, no big deal.As someone else mentioned, the waist strap can come loose quite easily. I've ordered some "belt sliders" from eBay to maintain tension. Only a couple of quid, but wish the bag came with them. That's a fairly minor gripe though, on the whole very happy with this purchase.

It doesn't stay tight when on.
Its a good size and fits a lot so as a bag with the shoulder strap it would be ok. Not really what it is for though.Sadly, the waist band, when the bag is full just comes loose. I ran up and down my lounge and I want to run with my dog; two drinks bottles and a bag with dog bags, spare ball, lead etc...It just slid off me, if I was out it I would have had to hold it.The waist strap is also very uncomfortable. The side supports I found too small so once the drink bottles are done tightly they shrink down to nothing and are worthless. Its then just a band hanging on your waist and it digs into your hips. I doubt you could hike and feel comfortable.

Good for women, less good for men
Purchased 2 of these - one each for myself and my wife, for use on a trek. Carried 2x750ml water bottles plus camera phones, small towel, hand sanitiser etc. Plenty of storage room.In terms of fit, I found that the pack did not fit well on my waist/hips when fully loaded - both with the pack front mounted (around my waist) or with the pack on my rear. So I was forever adjusting the pack, and in the end id not use on the main trek, switching to a conventional backpack instead. No doubt this had something to do with my waist!. However my wife had no such problems and the pack fitted well around her waist and above her hips and worked really well for her.The packs are not waterproof and there is no cover. In summary I'd say that these packs work really well for a women's shape, but less so for men's.
