First, these come with a pair of scissors, which is great. Means you won't dull your good kitchen scissors and end up with a nice extra pair for your toolbox.If you have slotting insulation, this pushes into the slot as designed and the foam filled insulation is large enough to fill a size-able gap.One trick, get a hammer and a short piece (2-3") of 1" dowel or something similar in shape, e.g. about a 1" around with a flat top and bottom on you hammer on. Using this, you can literally run up the edge (pushing aside the foam portion) tapping the other end with the hammer as you go to push it into the slot. I did the first door by hand and it was difficult. But, once I realized I needed to use a hammer and a dowel installation only took a minute and more secure (I went back and redid the first door).

Subbed this in for worn out weather stripping. Said it could fit a larger gap. I had a 1/4" and it does not fit well. It is far too loose in the gap. Had to use staple gun to secure. I will say, once I secured it does nicely to keep out draft. Make sure to leave an extra inch on when cutting. Rather have too much than too little.

Exactly what I was looking for, and a fraction of the price HD or Lowes charges. Super durable and easy to install. Creates a tight seal for exterior doors. Never heard the slightest wind whistle during hurricane Ian and 90 mph winds.

I was really hoping for a winner but having the product role makes dent marks in the seal. This causes the door to leak no mater how tight the seal

the groove in door was biggger so had to add no nails closed the door overnight no draughts through that door anymore
