Any idea how this compares to the SE2500, which is more popular? Other than looks.

According to Linksys support: "...they have the same functionalities. Their difference is that the SE3005 is made of metal, while the SE2500 is made of hard plastic."

Looking at the picture, and at my current switch, I don't see a "uplink" port that would connect to the router. Why is that?

Most switches these days no longer have a dedicated "uplink" port but instead can use any of it's ports as an uplink port. http://www.linksys.com/us/support-article?articleNum=139602 According to the article "Newer models of Linksys switches (such as the SE1500, SE2500, and SE2800 models) do not have Uplink ports. Instead, they have auto-sensing ports that are capable of detecting either straight-through or crossover cables." On my switches I use port 1.

does the all the ports works or just one at the time?

Any port which has something attached works simultaneously without your having to switch anything...I have this and another Linksys model...I have been pleased.

Does it support international voltage range? (120v to 240v)
