I haven't used it a whole lot but the times that I have it worked great.
I bought this because the PC I had just bought did not come with an SD card reader. So I bought this to take care of that. However the only time I used it was plugging into my cell phone to copy images to an SD card. That worked much easier than I thought it would. My cellphone has a USB-C port to charge it or connect to a computer or in this case to this card reader.

Bought for a digital frame.
The back of my digital frame had an input for this, but when I plugged it in it didn't work.

USB 2.0 Speeds & Freezes/Locks Up
Super disappointed. First of all, this reader doesn't even support USB 3.0 speeds despite having the USB-C connector. You can see in the screenshot that it's connected to a USB 3.0 hub, but the device itself can't go faster that USB 2.0.Second of all, this thing will frequently lock up my PC. Not just Lightroom, but Windows File Explorer too. And it also prevented my PC from POSTing (getting past the boot screen) until I unplugged it. There's definitely something wrong with the hardware itself. Seems cheaply made.Finally, it won't even allow you to use the SD Card port and MicroSD card port at the same time. If you thought you could put two different cards in and read/write to both of them, think again.Wanted to refund for the defective behavior, but I don't have the original packaging anymore, so seems my only hope is that the replacement doesn't lock up my PC. Still won't be able to do anything about the slow transfer speeds due to USB 2.0.

Product came in fast and in perfect condition. This is a major help since the updated macs have so little port options available in the desktop. Works great and is a bargain!
