My husband didn't like it. So we return it.

I am a long-time fan of Timex watches. I have owned many of them over the years, and have found them to be sturdy, reliable, and a great value. So I really wanted and expected to love this watch. Sadly, it has just had too many problems.Pros: I do like the analog activity dial on the watch face, which lets you know how close you are to your goal without pushing buttons or consulting your smartphone. And I like the way it automatically sets the time when syncing with the app. I like the crisp precision of the stepping second hand. The step counter is adjustable, and I have found it to be very accurate. The "Indiglo" night light is a signature Timex feature that I also like very much.Cons: The watch body is very thick and heavy, and will not easily slip under a buttoned shirt cuff. I find the gold dial markings very difficult to read - they are hidden by the reflections from the surface of the crystal. After nine months of wear, the dial markings have begun to come loose from the watch face and float around inside the crystal. I have had numerous problems with syncing to the app. The watch is supposed to store up to 6 days of data, but I find that if I don't sync every day, it often loses past data. The only activity function that really works well is the step counter. When syncing, the watch hands occasionally get out of alignment and need to be readjusted (fortunately, that's not too difficult). The advertised "One Year Battery Life" fell considerably short - at nine months, while the app still indicated that the battery was "good," the watch would no longer sync to the app, the nightlight ceased to function, and the second hand began stepping in two-second intervals - all indications of a low battery. I was very surprised that the app could not detect a failing battery even after it had affected these basic watch functions. And I found the battery to be ridiculously difficult to replace - you really need a case knife to open the watch, and a watch press to seal it up again. I assume that is why there are no instructions provided for performing that very necessary task (I notice that other hybrid watch makers include a tool for this purpose).All in all, this is a good looking watch, and a great concept - just what I was looking for, really - but it falls considerably short in functionality and user-friendliness.

This watch looks really great!It is that it doesn't seem to count steps accurately and I suspect the sleep time is inaccurate too..Yesterday I'm pretty sure I put in a 1000+ step day, but the timex only counted 294. Today I slept from 5AM to 1PM but the timex counted 12.9 hors.hours.To be clear, I'm 73. I take short little-old-man steps and tend to doze off. Even so, the timex seems less accurate than a fitbit I had.I was going to put a 20mm Cbin Quick Release Bracelet ( https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LLTA5PS ) on this watch but it turned out to be slightly too wide. I have ordered an 18mm one instead.

No interactive functions for super techies. The look is clean and sharp.

I like the analog look I like the syncing with the phone bit you have to have the phone in order to have the other features. I like the indigo light and I like the step counter

Ya no existe el app con la que se sincroniza el reloj, por lo tanto se convierte en un reloj básico y dificil de usar.Hay un app de Guess - Timex que si encuentra el reloj, pero al tratar de conectarse se congela e interrumpe.Timex no responde a las solicitudes de soporte.

Changed over from FB. This watch tracks steps, sleep etc. Looks great and is waterproof. Battery lasts a year so I don't have to remember to recharge every week or so. Quality look and feel. Can tell time with a glance, indoors or out and without being obvious. Always had great luck with Timex and glad to be wearing one again.
