Twod Front Backup Iron Sight Battle Sights BUIS

I normally don't write reviews however with all the options out there for flip up sights I think the review would help others make their decision with confidence. These sights are extremely well made. I bought these sights for an AR-15 **not Airsoft. These are fully constructed of aluminum not plastic or polymer. Adjustments on the rear sight are crisp and feel secure. Have not gotten out to shoot yet but I don't foresee any problem with them holding zero. Sights mounted to the picatinny rail tight and work perfectly with my Bushnell TRS 32 Red Dot optic. Although they don't fold up with the "cool" low profile that polymer sights do, these are extremely solid and lock into place well ( I much prefer function over form). I have no worries about dragging these through the woods, or having them break if the rifle is dropped or banged around. I plan on using this vendor and these sights on future builds as well.

Sights are a good deal- especially at this price! I am just a plinker when it comes to range time and can't justify dropping big bucks for a set of sights as the price difference between the expensive ones and these will buy a lot of ammo! Are they of the same quality as the more expensive ones? no- but they will do the same thing! :) They fit my rails well, and they stayed in the upright position when the rifle was fired, and stayed in the down position when they aren't needed. I was contacted by their customer service thru email to ask about my satisfaction with the sights and after listening to my issues they seemed genuinely appreciative of my input. I couldn't ask for a better response by them and definitely earned my respect by asking and listening to improve and refine their product.

One complaint leads to a one-star review. The sights do not lock in the up right position, instead they have some weak spring loaded jobber that is supposed to hold them up. It does not, at least not on my AR clone. One, or both flip back down with every round fired, not really a very helpful trait when trying to fire 3-round shot groups.

It's about 3" tall from the bottom of the Picatinny Rail to the top.It was Useless for me to use without a MATCHING REAR SIGHT.HIGH QUALITY SIGHT!

Got mine in. Added them to a 308 plinker. Easy fit no problems.Only wish was that they snapped into place like a magpul sight.

Said it was a bit taller for use on a low profile gas block. It’s not. Meant to be on the same plane as the rear sight or carry handle
