Gamesense has created a new shape through inspiration via the WMO. End result a much better mouse!
I purchased the Gamesense MVP on a whim, simply because I absolutely fell in love with their previous mouse release the Gamesense Meta. For perspective, I have a massive mouse collection and the level of quality Gamesense brought to the table with the Gamesense Meta got my attention. The build quality of the Gamesense Meta was impressive and the value proposition on offer is absolutely unmatched considering the specificatons. That being said, knowing that Gamesense once again showed that they care more about the quality of their products and actually provide what fans want from a mouse, I felt the urge to support them once more since their a budding company and deserve success based on past experiences.I'm glad I did.The Gamesense MVP is an incredible gaming mouse. The build quality is amazing and they've once again brought so much to the table that it's impossible for me to not give it a stellar recomendation. The Gamesense MVP is a difficult mouse to describe, because there's no one mouse that it specifically reminds me of but, I can do my best to describe some of its attributes so you can judge if it might be right for you.Now remember, the below descriptions are based off of in hand feel, not necessarily the specifications, because although providing specifications will assist you, in hand feel might be a better descriptor for some of you who've tried some of these mice. Yet regardless, I have provided the official specifications via a screen capture found alongside this review as well.In hand feel:The length feels slightly longer a Roccat Burst ProThe front M1/M2 button height is similar to a Roccat Kone ProThe centerpoint height at highest point is also quite similar to the Roccat Burst ProThe rear "hump" height is very similar to the endgamegear XM1 and Razer ViperThe rear Width is similar to a Razer Viper, but slightly more narrowThe grip width is similar to the Roccat Burst ProNow here's the weird part, although I mentioned multiple different mice above, it doesn't necessarily specifically feel like any of those. In hand, instead it feels like a mixture of a symetrical Rival 650 (in size), a Roccat Burst Pro like shape, a Steelseries Prime (On the sides) and a touch of the endgamegear XM1 at the rear hump decline. Now, I know that it might be difficult to understand but, it was truly the be example I could provide based on my experience with the shape. So go easy on me, because that was harder than you might think. Although Gamesense had mentioned that the initial inspiration was the Microsoft WMO and I can see that. As they also said, they took that shape and brought it to current standards. What I can clearly say is it's most assuredly their own shape now, because they deviated greatly from their inspiration, but in ways that made sense. Simply put, it's a much, much bettter shape than the WMO.This new shape in comparison to the WMO, provides greater inner hand freedom, greater vertical and horoizontal control, effortless lift and overall feel. The Gamesense MVP is perfectly weight balanced as well, so they did an amazing job and their vision was executed perfectly. The shell coating is quite nice, providing a mixed feeling of a Logitech G Pro Superlight, a Gamesense Meta, an Endgamegear XM1 and a Steelseries Prime. Grippy, yet semi-dry. The Kailh gm 4.0 switch implementation is fantastic! Crisp, with a perfect actuation point and low post travel. It's quit nice. Remember, unlike virtually every other manufacturer, Gamesense provides Kailh switches for M1/M2, Middle mouse and buttons 4 and 5. So, when I say this mouse has amazing implementation, I mean it. It's amazing! The middle mouse click alone MUST BE FELT! I find myself using the middle mouse button to navigate the web, because actuating the button isn't a miserable experience as it is with most mice. Mouse scroll is nearly identical to the Endgamegear XM1. Slightly less "smooth" but, most certainly similar. The paracord cable is very similar to the Endgamegear XM1 and the Coolermaster M711/MM720. So, it's a top tier cable. You won't need to relace it with an aftermarket cable whatsoever. Then there's the skates. 100% pure non-dyed PTFE, with a smooth glide. Fast, but with enough control. Somewhat similar to Corepads once they're broken in. You get an extra set as well, so that's always nice. The sensor is the 3389, which is obviously reliable and top tier, so not much to say there pending you understand that it's stellar. So that's basically everything I can touch on and I hope I was able to explain my experience well enough for you to get something from it.Pro's:Amazing Build QualityKailh gm 4.0 switches on M1-5An original shapeSmooth, yet tactile scroll wheelFantastic cableSimple an intuitive softwareCon:Would prefer sligtly tighter tolerances on shell sides similar to the Gamesense Meta, because that mouse disappears in your hand.Gamesense needs to create a unified software suite for their future devices, as I need to have the Meta software, as well as the MVP software installed. One suite would be a huge improvement.Summary:An absolute must buy if the shape sounds like it works for you. I love it!

lightweight Microsoft Wheel Mouse Optical clone with stiff cables, and it's not the USB cable!
I didn't see any reviews posted for the new Gamesense MVP, so I spent the $70 to see for myself and y'all out there that have watched the youtube reviews on it.Pros: Lightweight, the classic WMO shape is good with the latest sensor, the matte coating is grippy and feels good. The shell design is most up to date compared to other clones released in 2021. The clips on the sides keep the top and bottom together without screws and the three posts coming from the top shell keeps it rigid no matter how hard you press from the top.Cons: The three short wires connecting the side buttons PCB to the main PCB have the most cheap, stiff plastic jacket in a gaming mouse over $20, and they are soldered onto the daughter board instead of using a connector. Mine broke off after I took the mouse apart to replace the stock USB cable with an aftermarket paracord one.Had they used connectors on both ends or used cables with softer silicone jacket that costs 50 cents more, it would not have broken off at the soldering joint so easily. I've reviewed over 100+ mice so I know how to be careful when opening them and this is the first one with wiring broken off even with precaution. I understand this is Gamesense's own design and hopefully they will address the issue after my review. The people who will main this mouse are likely to be veteran enthusiasts, show us you can build something that had the WMO's build quality from the past, not just the shape, thank you.
