snarky, funny, angst, and definitely hard to put down
I was late coming to this series. I started on zodiac academy and stopped after book 4 because I couldn’t take all the cliffhangers and decided I would wait until the last book comes out in Dec to finish the series.I did read the prequel first and I am glad I did because the backstory just made Rogue’s POV that much better.I love Rogue and I love how she starts of as a wild child and as an adult she is absolutely feral. She does what she wants and she basically flips off the world. She grew up with Fox, Chase, JJ and Maverick and together they got in all kinds of trouble. They loved ride or die and as they got older the boys slowly fell in love with her. She didn’t want to pick any of them because she loved all of them. This all changed when they were 16 and she was forced to run away.10 years later she is back, against her will, with a haunted past. She is seeking her revenge in the men who were supposed to be there for her no matter what.I freaking loved the first half of the book. Laughing at all of Rogue’s snark and how she messed with the boys. I wish that her relationship with one of them was just as drawn out because it was funny and I loved that she knew what she was doing. That being said there is a cliffhanger but the series is finished so I am going to jump into the next book.

I love this series so much! It is one of my all time favorites! The hype is real. The angst, the drama, the romance! The twisted sisters do character and world building better than anyone!

it was ok
I liked this book. A few things almost made me stop reading. The way Rogue back and forth her feelings was irky to me. Even after the boys poured their hearts out to this chick she still was all woe is me like they went thru nothing. It was selfish.I like how everything was set thou. With each moving part it was described to the point where you could see everything while reading it. The writing is great just Rogues character really messes with the whole book in a negative way when it comes to the guys. She stands up to them which I love but also doesn’t have a forgiving bone in her body.Lastly, if you are looking for spice this isn’t it. I was shocked that it was considered a RH.Not everyone’s opinion will be like mine. I did like the book and would recommend for anyone looking for a slow burn where the FMC is unforgiving while men gravel at her feet.

What a fun ride
I'm not normally a fan of reverse harems/why choose stories but this one was refreshing . It didn't have the every guy was instantly in love fighting for the girl ect ect. We get some much needed enemies to lovers feel here which is nice.Firstly Rogue returns home and sets on getting revenge on the boys that broke her heart and their promise . Leaving her abandoned when she needed them the most. So let's get to the boysJj ... he is easy to like . Friendly and soft and patient with Rogue . As much as I like Jj he is the typical male in RH books. So there's that .Fox... the over protective insanely jealous and over the top control freak. I wanted to shout at him so many times as he was even starting to get under my skin. (Win for me in a story ).Chase.. oh Chase you are so damaged that you are just down right mean to our girl Rogue . So I appreciate him not just instant swooning over her and could feel his anger , his hurt , and yet fear for his brothers of her return .Maverick.. definitely a tough guy and intriguing however he didn't appear a whole lost in this book so I'm not sure what to think of him. Rogue is setting on revenge on her boys that use to vow to love and protect her 10 years ago before they betrayed her. She is broken buy determined to never get hurt again . Deep down of course she loves them and misses them but 10 years people change and you know that betrayal so there's that .Maverick we know has his own anger toward the boys his friends from what happened 10 years ago too so he is as broken as Rogue only more scary and more out for blood . He wants his revenge on them and destroy them specially his brother Fox and he will use whatever he can to destroy him and which makes Rogue the target .I very much enjoyed this book and can't wait to dive i to the next one !

What's a Girl Gotta Do to Get a Johnny James of Her Own?!
"He'd bought his death with mine, and I'd see to that even if it cost me all I had."*****Sinner's Playground is the first THICC AF full length novel in the Harlequin Crew series, but I definitely recommend reading the novella, Devil's Pass, first. I know, I know, this book is a HEFTY ONE on its own but you totally need the backstory and the insight into these characters at sixteen before you jump into the five shades of fkd up present with them all now.Sinner's Playground picks up ten years after Rogue Easton left her four best friends, Fox, JJ, Chase and Maverick, and the only home she'd ever known, behind for life. But when she wakes up buried in a shallow grave... well it turns out death, or lack thereof, has other plans for Rogue.Right now, Luther Harlequin and the threat of being brutally wiped from the face of the Earth if she ever returns to Sunset Cove are SOMEHOW looking like the lesser of two evils. So Rogue brushes the (grave) dirt off her shoulder and sets her sights on the four men holding the keys to her future - literally. Forget the guys, they don't even have to know she's there - she just needs one tiny little thing from each of them, and then this girl will have all she needs to hightail it out of town for good; with a pitstop to repay all the kindness shown to her by the jerkoff who killed her and buried in the woods, of course.I may have rioted near the end of this book ya'll. The sisters always get me at the end but THEY REALLY GOT ME. WTF?! WTAF?! If they hadn't left me with Johnny mfkn James to drool over in the meantime, I'd be raising Hell right about now. Heck you know what, my baby JJ will help me. LET'S GO!

It started way too good to be true
I was loving this book, so much, but then it got to a point where Rogue became seriously annoying and Fox… I can’t, I just can’t with his obsession and possessiveness. Also, if u like slow-burn this is the perfect book, way too slow for me and like WHERE IS THE SPICE? WHERE IS THE WHY CHOOSE ROMANCE? They just hate each other way too much and they just talk about her choosing, like… what?I don’t think this is the way to build a why choose romance and it make me hate them all. I expected a little more maturity or something, they talk a lot about having grown up and they didn't

Damn! That was awesome.
I love the 5 main characters. Enemies-to-lovers trope is very well written. All the angst, the sexiness and the darkness makes this book too interesting to keep continuing the series. I loved reading this book.

My new favorite series
I cannot emphasize how good this is! If you like dark romance, a kick ass female and some hot guys...this is everything. Rogue is simply amazing. JJ is fun and sweet. Fox is so annoying but maybe redeemable. Chase is a pathetic bitch boy. Maverick...psycho and can't wait to learn more about him.

Holy Guacamoli 🔥
I‘m hooked!I‘m so sooo hooked. The story about Rouge, the Halerquin Boys and Maverick, I am dying to know how this will end.I love it that Rouge is a badass woman and that she's not the one to give in, it's Fox and JJ trying to show her how important she is to them.Chase, oh Chase.I love the little moments between the two of them when he opens up to Rouge.I know he will come around.Least of all I expected Maverick's behavior. Although it currently makes perfect sense.I'm so excited to see how the relationship between the two will develop. As the saying goes, it usually only gets worse before it gets better. And I believe that Rouge is going to have a hard time with Rick but she's the only one who'll get to him and has a chance to let his walls down.Even though I love Rouges personality and I absolutely understand why she is the way she is, I have to say that I found her behavior a little childish and inappropriate in some places and therefore sometimes found it a little annoying while reading.Nevertheless, absolute reading recommendation and can hardly wait for the next part.
