We Are Brothers, We Are Friends

I bought copies for both my boys and friends who have had a second boy. My 4-year-old has been requesting it a lot lately. He’s the little one and I show him all the ways his big brother loves him because he does all the things that the big brother in the book does. Last week, on the last page, he said he wanted to go to a place like that with his brother. I’m assuming he means a dude ranch, so we’re putting it on our list of vacation ideas! This book is perfect for both big and little brothers.

This story book is the sweetest approach to welcoming a new baby brother! Big brother is three years old and very interested!

Great book for brothers that teachers about learning and sharing and loving each other!

My 3 year old son LOVED this book and referenced lines in it all the time when his new baby brother arrived. Very helpful and super cute book. Adorable illustrations and loved the sweet and simple read. He wants to read it over and over.

Wonderful book for brothers. My older 3yo son had a much different attitude thanks to this book!!!

A sweet book to help remind my boys that they will be best friends (even though they are argue, wrestle until someone gets hurt, and fight over tv shows and toys).

We love this book!

This is a very colorful simple story of a big brother's love for his younger brother. Big brother tells his little brother that, “I have lots to show you . . . like trains and planes and how to be a dinosaur." He continues by telling his little brother that if he cries he will hear him first and help. In the evening the brothers are in bed together as the older boy reads to his little brother. He tells his little brother that just the two of them will have lots of adventures together.Cons: NonePros: I’m not sure if older children will like this book, but it feels ideal for the little ones. The illustrations are bright and there are so few words that it’s bound to hold their attention.
