These are solid hinges. Its not in the description but them material thickness (with coating) is 0.01", and the screws are actually lag bolts, 5/16" x 2.2". Tad bit long for putting into a 2x4 or 2x6 without pushing out the far side, but good if going into a post. I planned to mount 3 on my gate, but 2 are more than adequate, so I have 4 left over. Easy to mount if you have a drill and a driver. I do suggest pre-drilling the holes to prevent splits. They are good looking hinges, no complaints. I'd buy again if needed, but I still have plenty.

Each hinge is well made with Lag bolts to provide plenty of support

They are okay for small gates, 4 feet width or smaller. I purchased these for a double 6ft. Each side. Seems a little flimsy. It will do the job but in the future I'll get thicker ones that will hold a heavier amount of weight.
