Not user friendly

I bought this model because the buttons are sealed/covered so that I can easily clean it and food won’t get stuck in the button cavity. It works well. I don’t like the alarm which sounds nearly as panicked as a fire alarm. A nice tone or some volume control would have been nice. It has a flashing light and vibration option, but without a clip to put on my apron these options are pretty useless as I wander around the kitchen. The vibration cannot be heard over a boiling pot of stock or sizzling pan. The alarm option is slightly annoying since I don’t use it and I have to “scroll” through the option every time I toggle between timer and clock. The timer buttons allow you to count backwards, but it would be better if I clicked an hour and could count back the minutes to say 45 minutes instead of having to hold the button (which you have to press fairly hard) to get all the way up to 45. I feel like all these problems could have been easily avoided or fixed in a test kitchen. Still, it does the job, the magnets are very strong (to the point of scratching the finish) and you will never miss the sounding alarm even if you were outside the house.

My only complaint is that I wish there were a background light so that you can still see the time in dark or dim lighting. We are using it as a kitchen clock for our stove. Otherwise this works exactly how it should

Really like it, but I had 5 people mess with it before someone figured out how to set the time. Better directions would be great.

I like the look of this timer but it is soooooo cumbersome to use and it came blissfully free of instructions. Not worth the trouble. Plus there is no way to zero it out except to keep pressing buttons until it reaches max and returns to zero. Just too clumsy to use.

I bought this for my elderly father. he had a really difficult time determining if he pushed the buttons adequately. Also navigating the set up was much less intuitive then was practical. (no dementia, just older with decreased tactile sense and aging eyes.) this would probably be fine for people without those problems.
