Well this has been used to heat up the gals tank for a few months now. Keeps at a good temperature. No issues and pumps out enough heat for the gals to keep in a good condition.

It works really well. I have it on the back wall of my tarantulas vivarium and she is loving the heat in this changeable weather . An excellent product and a great price too.

Description makes it sound like you can set a temperature but you can't. Looks really cheap and I wouldn't trust leaving it plugged in... sent it back to buy one where I can select the temperature and have some more accurate control. I

This heat mat is good - just a shame doesn’t have some indication on the switch as if you turning it up or down

This is a good heat mat, but you have to fiddle with it to find on and off, so I put a bit of tape on the on side to know where it was( it would have been good to have it marked plainer on and off?) I tried this for my ant colony, so I put it on and felt the mat and turned it up a bit more and couldn't tell what temp was, so I bought a thermostat to put on this mat, which was much better to tell the temp the mat was giving out, so this was much better. I have two colony, so I put half of each container on the mat and the thermostat in-between, so that I could see a constant temp and for what I purchased this mat for it worked great, so I'm very happy with it and the price was really good too.

Don't bother, this is absolutely awful. It feels so cheap and either is red hot or stone cold, doesn't warm my tank and feels really cheap. There's no way the controls passed Safety checks and there's no certificate either. Probably would catch fire.
