Not so universal
I attempted to use this adapter on a set of speakers. The part did provide numerous pin points to aid in my efforts, but even with a tight fit, the only response of performance was that the part indicated a blue light for about a half a second, but nothing would ever play or never came on again. I sent it back for a refund. Amazon could not make the return process any easier. I totally commend Amazon for this feature.

It works
I needed to replace a power supply for my in-wall speaker system. This one met the power requirements but the supplied connectors did not match my system. I cut the connector off the old power supply and soldered it on the new, and voila. Works great.

Worked for my purpose
Would have been nicer if there were some sort of adjustment for amperage output as well. But it worked for the purpose I needed it for.

Use for wireless microphone receiver
It is a good adapter the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the end is a little loose but it still works. I would recommend it if you need a universal adapter.

Purchased for a power recliner that is out of business.
At first I was a little leary, but after receiving the power converter, and plugging it in, I am well impressed. Kinda like a Hail Mary pass from Rodgers to Driver. (I used to like the Vikes, but they play as individuals, sorry Adrian.) But TOUCHDOWN!!!! it works great!! and glad i was able to find this switching power supply for a decent price. Thanks Amazon!!

Solid Power Supply
I used this in a RF setup to power a PA. I checked the regulation and stability at 2A draw, and it's solid. I also like the built in startup delay.Has a blue power LED. I cut off the DC end with the adaptor and soldered for my application so I don't have much to say about the barrel connectors.

Expensive, but Worked.
Arrived on time. Price is high. Works Great.

This Chinese-made power transformer is bad quality
I bought two of these; one to keep as a spare. There load rating was much higher than what I needed, so I figured it to last a long time. One lasted about a week and stopped working. The spare was bad the minute it was plugged in. I had to go to another company to find something American-made that would hold up.
