Product is on point! They give you 2 different style caps to make sure your covered. All 6 of mine, all tho different gas tanks, took 1 style cap. Can't say how long their gonna last but worked perfectly including the drill bit and vents.

I am very satisfied with this product and recommend it for old gas cans. The fuel nozzles seem to fail before the actual gas can. If you go to buy a new gas can it is not only expensive but the modern fuel nozzles are designed to make you curse. This product allowed me to repair 5 old gas cans that had been sitting around the shop.Pros: Reasons for 5 stars - Leak Proof, Easy to Use- Cheaper than a new gas can. Bring that old gas container back to life with a new nozzle.- Fits Blitz, Wedco and Gott fuel cans- Once the threaded collar is installed properly and breaks in, it is easy to use.Cons: Reason for 3 stars - Easy to Install- Does not fit Eagle galvanized fuel cans. I tried, had to cut off the plastic collar, and...it just doesn't fit.- Collar can be very tight when first installing. Take your time and don't force it.- Can cross-thread. Take your time when retrofitting. Use some spray lubricant when first installing.

The gov't really screwed up gas cans. These fix it. I have spilled and vented much less fuel with these than those horriable "automatic" spouts that comes on cans. The gov't fix made the problem worse in my opinion. And with these I have not had a single can vacuum itself in, like with the gov't mandated ones.

I had a hard time with most fuel can spouts. I had to hold the can weight, place my hand on the spout in a certain way to get fuel to flow, and make sure the spout was in the fuel tank opening.I found these spouts on Amazon and have changed all my fuel cans to this type. Sometimes I use the original cap instead of the yellow cap but only if it fits better.The spouts have a screw cap to prevent fuel and vapor leaks and spills in case the can turns over. The air valve is easy to install and I have not had any issues with leaks. The trick is to determine where to put the air valve so the fuel will not block it and spill out when you are filling the fuel tank of your machine.I have ordered two sets of these and shared with family and friends. Everyone is pleased with these new spouts. I have a Kubota compact tractor and two 4 gallon diesel cans. As soon as I bought them I put these new spouts on them and have had no issues in filling the tractor tank.I am overall pleased with this product.

Went to buy new gas cans because my spouts had either broken or had the safety spouts that you have to twist and push in to use and I couldn't believe how much gas cans cost and they all had the safety spout. Found this kit, what a great deal. Even comes with a drill bit to drill the vent hole. I am very pleased with the value! Would recommend.

The new safety spouts are ridiculous when trying to use them. You basically have to have 3 hands to use them, and they always leak. These replacement spouts are nice. and the vent that you add to the gas can is so needed. Why would manufacturing quit putting them on gas cans? They have to breath to get the fuel out of the can properly. I see myself getting more since I keep spare fuel for the generator and mowers. The really awesome thing is that the caps come in 2 different thread patterns, which makes it nice since all fuel cans are not the same!

Received promptly. This item did not tighten properly causing a leak. Not well designed in my opinion. Would not recommend.
