The Prettiest Powder Perfume
This has become my new favorite scent. It smells like a modern take on vintage fragrance. It’s classic, semi-sweet, feminine, powdery, comforting, and so deeply enjoyable that I can’t stop sniffing it. To get this out of the way first: you absolutely MUST like powdery fragrances to enjoy this perfume. It THE powder bomb; frequently listed on perfume lineups as the “powderiest scent in [reviewer’s] collection.” I own 7 boudoir powder/baby powder fragrances, and many other gourmand & floral powdery fragrances, and this is the most powder-heavy of them all. Also, this has a vintage feel to it, but it’s a modern fragrance. I’ve never been one for many vintage fragrances, as even when I appreciate the scents and the artistry, they typically smell outdated to me, soapy, or too gamey and I don’t want them on my body. This perfume captures the essence of a vintage fragrance, without smelling like one. It doesn’t smell jarring, funky, animalic or extremely aldehydic. In my opinion, it smells timeless. When I first sprayed this, I immediately got a blast of vanilla scented body dusting powder (the kind with a talc-y perfumed scent) that women used to frequently pat their shoulders and necks with and wear as perfume or under perfumes. Imagine that scent mixed with fresh, wet baby wipes. That is what this smells like at first. Initially, it’s quite strong; but wafts of vanilla begin peaking through after that first spray, and really begin to shine about 10 minutes in. After about 5-10 minutes, the baby wipe scent begins to settle and tone down, becoming more uplifting rather than harsh. A sweet iris and the heliotrope creep in and mingle with the vanilla, and slowly I can detect a very soft and subtle rose note. This isn’t a mature, or dry rose scent, it’s a a full bodied, plump rose that never becomes a main character. If you don’t like rose fragrances, there’s a strong possibility you won’t even smell the rose in this. Hours into the dry down I get a lovely sweet almond powder scent that settles into the skin. I love this stage of the dry down. It smells like almond, iris, powdery vanilla heaven— with a soft baby-wipe touch. Interestingly, this perfume is a bit cold on the nose— like you’re sniffing chilly air; but when it really warms to the skin it gets a bit of warmth to it, while still maintaining that “cool” airy facet. It’s said that this is meant to be a dupe for Villoresi Firenze’s Teint de Neige, which translates to “color of snow.” I haven’t smelled that fragrance yet, but I am happy to see that this fragrance also has a coldness to it.I wouldn’t call this a “clean girl” scent. It does smell like baby wipes, and some may smell baby powder, but it has a delicate sweetness from the iris that smells slightly candied, and a sweet quality from the vanilla, heliotrope, and tonka bean as well. It’s not a gourmand sweetness, rather a more natural, floral sweetness. The powder also doesn’t go in a a linear, “fresh” direction— this is vintage boudoir powder puffs and a bouquet of sweet & airy florals. When I think of an image based on Junoon, I imagine a half-dressed, fresh-faced Hollywood ingenue looking into a marquee light mirror as she puts on her makeup in private. She’s hopeful and bubbly, but doing something that isn’t meant for anyone else to see or enjoy. This perfume embodies that to me. It reminds me of old Hollywood opulence and beauty, it’s airy, happy, sophisticated, and sensual in a way that feels intimate and only for the wearer, rather than being sexy.On skin this perfume stays until I shower again the next day; and I can still smell this on clothing until I wash them. The longevity is outstanding, the sillage & projection are moderate (but could be beastly & I can tell it would genuinely be hard to breathe if you overspray), and I get a gorgeous all day sent bubble just from spraying my skin 3 times from this. Amazing quality for the price, I never want to not own a bottle of this.

A hidden gem
I had heard amazing things about this fragrance for a while but was hesitant to take the plunge. As anyone who indulges in blind buying knows, it’s a gamble that can often lead to disappointment. However, after much deliberation, I decided to go for it and ordered the full bottle—and let me tell you, it completely exceeded my expectations. This fragrance is stunningly beautiful, almost ethereal in its composition. As a devoted fan of Dama Bianca (a fragrance I personally consider a masterpiece), I was initially skeptical about meeting its supposed sister/cousin. To my delight, Junoon Noir holds its own. It’s not a 1:1 dupe of Dama Bianca, but they’re remarkably close. Upon researching, I discovered their notes differ by just one—Junoon Noir features an additional malt note. Despite this small difference, their similarities are undeniable. Both have a sweet, rosy profile, though Junoon leans slightly sweeter.Packaging:The bottle itself is as elegant as the fragrance inside. Its sleek and minimal design gives it a luxurious feel, making it a beautiful addition to any vanity or collection. The weight and detail of the bottle also hint at quality far beyond its price point.Performance (Sillage, Longevity, and Projection):Junoon Noir delivers moderate performance on my skin. While it doesn’t fall into the “beast mode” category for me, others have claimed otherwise. Its projection sits at about arm’s length, which is perfect for those who prefer their fragrance to make a gentle but noticeable statement rather than announcing itself from across the room. When I compared it directly with Dama Bianca, Junoon slightly edged it out in both sillage and longevity—and at such an accessible price point, it is hard to resist.Fragrance Evolution:From the first spray, Junoon Noir opens with a sweet, rosy profile reminiscent of Dama Bianca, but as it dries down, the malt note begins to shine. This gives the fragrance a smooth and slightly creamy depth, making it feel unique even alongside its more famous counterpart. The sweetness softens over time, leaving behind an elegant, warm finish.Who Might Like This:Junoon Noir is perfect for anyone who loves soft, sweet florals with an elegant, feminine touch. Whether you’re just starting your fragrance journey, exploring Middle Eastern scents, or already have an extensive collection, this fragrance has something to offer. It’s versatile enough for both seasoned collectors and newcomers.Value and Versatility:Junoon Noir is an incredible value for what it offers. Its quality, performance, and similarity to high-end fragrances make it a standout in its price range. It transitions effortlessly between day and night and works across seasons. I see this as a versatile choice for a variety of occasions—date nights, workdays (with a light touch), casual outings, or even special events.

Worth the hype
Definitely worth the hype. It has vanilla scents and it lasts for a good while. I always layer mine with the Eos vanilla cashmere. I love the bottle design and it has some sweetness to it .

Beautiful scent
Beautiful and stunning scent. It's a pretty girl soft scent. I wished it projected more than sitting so close to the skin. I don't like the atomizer. It needs to be improved.

Very cutesy pretty scent….
I have been collecting middle eastern perfumes and I feel it is a hit or miss. This was a good blind buy! So different and girly. It’s a sweet floral tangy vanilla powdery scent. Very pretty and nice for the spring and summer!

Delicious sweet vanilla kumquat!!!
Smell so delicious on my skin. It only last a few hours on my skin so I also spray it on my clothes to make it last longer. For the price I think it was a great deal!

Not for me I guess
I have never smelled Dama Bianca but seems as if I would like the notes and heard this was a great show for the scent. Sometimes I will buy dupes of perfumes but mostly I purchase samples if I can’t smell in the store. I blind bought this based on reviews and all of the hype but not sure of the hype. This is a soft scent that has a bug spray kind of smell to me. I have now ordered a sample of Dama Bianca to see if they even smell similar. I did test on a scent strip and then my wrist to see if the smell would change on skin. It did not change nor did it have longevity. Within an hour, I no longer smelled on my wrist. I will let this macerate for a month or so but believe that this was a waste of money and a scent not for me. The price wasn’t bad so guess I just lost this one.
