I am using these in an air powered angle grinder to clean welds. They may be the best cup brushes I’ve had.

These wire brushes were inexpensive and lasted long enough to refurbish an aluminum boat (sanding paint off boat.) Safety eyewear is a must with these brushes as bristles do come loose. Satisfied with product based on what they cost, and how they performed.

These are STAINLESS steel wire brushes which aren't as "aggressive" as regular steel, but they also don't disappear into red dust with use! I'm using them for rust removal from wood-shop tools where my garage roof leaked. They work slower than spring steel, but as I said, regular steel reacts chemically with the rust you remove. U-toob videos and tool restorers say "Start with a wire brush, use your chemicals, and finish with silicon carbide sandpaper and "lapping" compound (good old Clover Brand). I suggest when using ANY wire brush, wearing a protective layer (heavy shop apron or old jacket) to protect your bell and chest from wire fragment. Wear a protective face mask and particle respirator. They work. If you don't "push" them, they don't lose lots of wires, so they're reasonably durable. Good value.

You will burn through one of these in 1/2hr to 45 min with moderate use.

I have used a lot of other brands of this type of cup brushes 1/4" shank. they don't last any longer than any of the other brands, expected better quality and longer lasting for higher price. stainless does not make any difference in this case. won't buy again.
