Tan not green
This is definitely more tan than green. But it looks good on wool so I keep buying it.

Olive brown! But still beautiful!
This dye is a beautiful olive brown. Add a dash of teal if you are wanting an olive green. Used this dye to re-color wool faux locs I wear at the desert dirt rave aka Burning Man. First time using acid dye, it was a fairly simple process. Made a range of colors and tones using just olive and teal. Check Jacquard’s website for more info about mixing the different pigments, some colors become spotty and separate if the water is too hot. A cooking thermometer is super helpful for keeping the dye bath at a consistent temperature. Easy cleanup was a bonus.

Great color outcome on raw wool

Too dark to be olive
This dye is more black than it is olive. It also has too much blue in it to even be called olive. Has to use dye remover to remove this color from my shirt as it was too dark.

Not olive green
First of all it's not olive green. And second of all although I could have lived with the rust color it came out splotchy even though I was extremely careful in every step of the way and even mix the dye up and let it sit for a half an hour so all the colors would be dissolved.

Other than that it worked great and a need a brown in my colorway
I thought this was olive green - it colors a dark chocolate brown on wool. I was going by the color of the label on the product as a guide. I should have read the reviews first. Other than that it worked great and a need a brown in my colorway.
