Our kitty had to go through an enucleation due to growing tumors in one of his eyes. The vet sent us home with a soft/flexible and opaque e-collar. As soon as he arrived home he ran under the bed to hide and the collar inverted. He scraped his newly sutured wound on the bed frame and started bleeding. What was a traumatic day for him already quickly became more stressful when we realized this cone was absolutely not going to protect him for the next two weeks. When he finally came out from hiding, the big, floppy, opaque cone made it extremely difficult for him to navigate, especially considering he just had a major change in vision. I immediately returned to the vet to get a different cone. The rigid cone they provided was transparent, but 1. way too big for my petite cat, and 2. extremely difficult to put back on when he took it off in the middle of the night.I searched amazon for a cone option that would stay on, be relatively comfortable, and make it easier for him to navigate as he adjusted to his newly reduced vision. This cone has been absolutely perfect. This cone is easy to put on and highly adjustable. It is not so big that it makes it hard for him to get around and is transparent so that he has better visibility. My cat doesn't usually wear a collar, but I did attach it to one to help it stay on better — though I did not test it without a collar. He gets his stitches removed tomorrow and can finally take the cone off. But if we had to have him in this cone for another week, I know that while he wouldn't love it, we would be able to get through it, no problem.

Worked well for my cat after spay surgery. I bought some soft collars but she got out of them immediately. This one has been very secure.

This is similar to what is sold at my local pet store but at a significant discount here on amazon. It works well and has many different sizing holes so that it is very accommodating for the pet. The area around the neck is soft, the clasp is plastic and is easy to put on and remove off. Overall very happy with this purchase.

my cat didn't seem to mined wearing for 2 weeks after he had stitches. He is well healed now. Just need to be sure it's wrapped around with cotton string, not synthetic. (I think they feel itchy)

Run a little small. Well made and snaps on and off easily though.

Love how this adjusts!! So easy to find the right neck size without the nasty hook and loop fastening which can pull and tug a dog's long fur/hair.

According to the description, the Small collar measures 8.5 by 15, which would presume width and length. The collar is about 4 inches wide and way too small to fit. Luckily, our vet swapped me for one that fits, so I don’t have to return it. However, you should be better about measurements, and more accurate about describing how your measurements are taken or provided. What is listed is misleading and seemingly incorrect by a great deal. I love your collars but hate your measuring methods. Please change what is listed.

Our cat could still access his legs, tail, & stomach with this cone no matter what we did. We had to order a cone with longer sides. The quality seemed totally fine though … just didn’t work for us.For reference, our cat weighs 11.2 lbs so he’s not exceptionally large or small.
