They definitely went downhill on some later albums, and it’s a shame that we won’t get more from Chester, but after Hybrid Theory they could’ve easily slid into some nu-metal back alleys, but they pushed it and definitely elevated themselves beyond that. I’m glad they released this version so you don’t have to shell out the money for the deluxe version if you don’t want or need it.

I have been a Linkin Park fan since their debut.This band, Korn and No Doubt are the reasons I became a rock fan during my teenage years. Before them, it was mostly hip-hop/rap. I bought the Hybrid Theory album as soon as I could when it was released. However, I did not buy Meteora at the time because the singles had such heavy radio play that I did not feel the need to. However, when I found out about the death of Chester Bennington, felt this sadness in my heart and felt the need to play his songs. I know I could have just saved my money and listened to them on YouTube, Spotify or etc. but I had this feeling that to truly honor him I needed to buy the physical album. I have been playing this album on repeat since I bought got and it even makes me feel slight regret that I did not buy it during the peak release of the album. Still, I have been enjoying it immensely and join so many other fans around the world in saying Mr. Bennington thank you for your life, your words, your feelings and your songs. Thank you for helping me to express all that I was feeling but could not put into words. I as a fan will truly be forever grateful and a fan for life. LP forever!

I love the music but the amazon shining was horrible. The cd case was shattered when is arrived.
