Excellent product, excellent company
This wheel hoe is great for big-ish gardens or small-ish farms. I guess it would be good for small gardens too, but might not really be necessary. I have been using it for a year, during two seasons, and it has transformed how I am able to prep and maintain beds for a small low-till vegetable and flower farm, making it much easier, quicker, and possible to work more area. And, it is work, obviously...you gotta push and pull the thing. However, in my experience, it is much easier than other hand tools. And once you have your beds prepped and the soil is loose, it is quite easy to use. In addition to the hoe itself you are going to want some attachments, so figure that into the budget. In addition to the cultivators that it comes with, I have the oscillating hoe and the sweeps, both highly recommended. The hoe is high quality with good steel, wood, and hardware. After a year of pretty intense use, I broke one of the ash handles. I was barely inside the warranty period and don't think the broken handle was the result of a manufacturing defect. Still, I called Hoss, sent a pic of the broken handle, and they had new handles delivered to my house two days later. They make quality tools, are honest people, and stand behind their product. Highly recommended.

Absolutely a great tool!
This is an excellent tool. It is aQuality plow with a good assortment of attachments. It defiantly speeds up cultivating, weeding the garden. This is a great product and I would recommend it to anyone. Shipping was lightning quick arriving 2 days earlier than scheduled. Something that doesn’t seemTo happen with most Amazon sellers anymore.

Makes gardening easier
Had been wanting a Hoss Hoe for years. Finally I got the double wheel hoe as a present. I’m a bit older (early 50s), lack some strength and tall so was a little skeptical if this would be right for me without getting the opportunity to try it out first. But its fabulous and it has made my garden chores easier. Which is the point after all, right?I had to clear quick grass, nettles and deep rooted weeds in a lot of area (maybe 8’ x 70’ and a second 5’ x 35’) that I wanted to grow my own food in.With the cultivating forks that came with the double wheel hoe it was a lot of hard work to get through everything. That space while a pasture hadn’t been turned since the 60s. But the forks did 97% of the worst parts. In a few places I just didn’t have the strength and had to loosen the ground with a spade or a garden fork first But I was really impressed overall.I had a bit of difficulty assembling it initially but that was just figuring it out. I’ve been changing out attachments now without any problems. And I took the time to oil it first. It has a little mind of its own if your area is very uneven but not awful. And it actually helped move dirt around on the next passes to help even it out with some effort. My area has electric fence along two edges but the hoe got in close enough without hazard at all. It did however make it just a tad tricky to maneuver around and turn back around. Mind you that would be the same for a rototiller or many other garden tools. So not a problem just an observation and something you need to plan forWould I buy it? Absolutely. It is solid. Makes gardening easier and soil prep faster. Attachments are heavy duty workhorses crafted to last. And the variety of attachments Hoss Tools offers is generous. Is it worth the price? I’d looked at several wheeled hoes in US and in Europe and they’re all in the same ballpark so I wasn’t hesitant on getting because of price. I really thought I wouldn’t be strong enough to use it and that’s not the case at all. Best thing overall? MADE IN THE U.S.

Wonderful Tool
This little tool is amazing! It helps with weed control, digging and covering the rows, and hilling corn and potatoes. I have a rear tine tiller which breaks my ground, but the hoss hoe helps me maintain the garden. My garden is very small, the hoe allow me to plant twice as many rows because of the narrow width of the tool.Finnally, its great exercise- just made gardening fun again!

Great garden tool
I love this. It's how I prep my garden every year. I use it between my rows and really cuts down on my weeding. I do the whole garden by myself. As a tiny women I don't have to use any equipment and this does the job. I don't think I could do my garden without it.It also gives me a great workout.

Good garden tool.
I’m happy with my purchase. I think the wood handles are not heavy enough. I’m careful with my Hoss plow, but others may not be. I think the handles should be at least a third again the size they are. The plow blades work fair. When you have them turned to make hills , the hills are very small. It works well when you turn the blades to make rows. The cultivator blades are not real heavy duty, but they work well in good tilled soil. That’s what I use mine for the most, is cultivating. The handles are adjustable, which makes it convenient for taller people. I feel like, the Hoss may be a little overpriced for what it is, and does.

Great garden tool for weeding, and well made.
The Hoss Double Wheel Hoe is well made, and shipped quickly. It is harder to operate than it appears on the video, but practice improved my skill of operation. The culltivator attachments are excellent for weeding rows of beans, peas, or peppers, easily running a culltivator piont next to the plants on both sides. The 12 inch ossilating hoe is excellent in the flat area of the row middle, but actually the cultivators work about as well, and you don't have to change attachments. I have not found much use for the plows.
