After returning two similar products, this is the one I’ll keep. I thought I’d write this to help you pick, there are a lot of options out there and I’m pretty sure very few come close to this for $16. Awesome product. Tried this tonight for the first time lobster diving. This thing is SO BRIGHT it’s like staring at the sun. It’s got a dim setting though, it’ll still beat any old flashlight you are used to. I recommend this 100% it’s sturdy, well built, comes with a case (!) and accessories. Feels very qualitative for the price and is full of little extra features. Best $16 I’ve spent on here by far. Love it, highly recommend it.

Maybe I have a higher standard for light sources since I use them primarily for caving. I got this light because I like the handheld version of it and thought this would be a great headlamp to have. The light is heavy and has more of a spotlight feel than anything else. It's bulky and the band doesn't fit around a climbing/caving helmet very well. Often because there is a lot of tension on the band the band comes out of the light frequently which can get very annoying.It is waterproof so that is good. However I have never dived with it so I can't say anything about that. The light isn't as bright as I thought it would be which was a bummer and it has more of a spotlight feel. I was hoping for something that lit the room a little better.In summary: For the same amount of money, just get a cheap headlamp that is much lighter, sticks together better, and stays charged longer, or spend a little more money to get a much better all around headlamp. I do recommend the handheld version of the light though, that one still has a spotlight feel but covers longer distances.

Use these for gigging flounder and they’re the best lights we’ve had, so far. Head harness is comfy and fit everyone’s head pretty well, very bright, the battery charges quick, holds its charge for 4-5 hours before getting dim. We taped one to a pole to use under the water and have had zero issues with water damage.

I was really looking forward to using this product for an upcoming camping trip. Product looked nice coming out of the package. Battery and charger worked but when trying to use the switch for the light, product did not turn on. Looked on youtube to double check if there was a certain way to turn on light (no instructions given for the product) but it seemed that the on/off switch was the only thing needed to turn it on. Tested battery and it was fully charged. Also tried other 3 AAA battery option that was given in package and didn't turn on. Re-ordered product and same problem happened again. Really disappointed and wallowing in buyers remorse.

This light is really bright. I had a previous version, this one has been improved. Awesome light.

I could not see much with it diving but I used it on the sailboat and it was a great deal.

Excellent value for the money. For those who don't know what the plastic sleeve does, it allows an optional battery to fit better. Purchase a 18650 li-ion 3.7V battery with recharger. See picture. While it is heavier than you would expect by looking at, that tells me that is solidly made and designed for underwater where the weight won't matter. Can't wait to try it.
