Month in & great so far
This scala 1 replaced our scala 2. It's doing a fine job 1 month in. Our 2 was leaking internally in less than 3 years. Seems to be a typical problem with the 2, so giving this one a try! It is actually quieter, which has been a nice suprise as well :•) Easy to install and set up. The bluetooth connection is a nice feature as well. Good luck water warriors ;•)

Works Great
We were looking for a remotely controlled water pump to supply our house from our water tank. This new Scala 1 pump has been fantastic. The bluetooth control makes it so simple to turn the pump on and off as needed without going outside in the weather or in the dark of night. Pull it up on your phone, connect to the pump in the app and click start, that's all there is to it! We took the advice of one of the seller videos and also purchased flexible 1" stainless tubing so the new connection only took about 10 minutes and we were up and running. Would definitely buy this again if we ever need it but Grundfos pumps last a very long time.

Pump works well
This was a replacement for a previous model that is no longer manufactured. Product has performed well and provides the needed pressure boost.

Grundfos has zero customer support
I have bought 4 Grundfos pumps over the years, 3 different models. The pumps are well designed and do the job but they develop leaks that must come from the seals (best guess). Then you have to take them out of service, and of course have a back-up pump. So this will be my last. When you contact the manufacturer, they just tell you to get the pump serviced.

No Customer Support (amazon purchase)
This pump was a breeze to install, was done in about an hour. About 6 months later, I started to hear a strange sound from the pump and called customer service to find out what could be the problem. I was concerned that I had received a dud. I was replacing a 36 year old Grundfos model that had failed, and it's not a good business model for your products to last that long, so I assumed the new one had some planned obsolesce built in.What I got back from Grundfos was MUCH worse...."Good afternoon Mr. (spelled my name wrong)We recommend contacting a licenced plumber for proper diagnosis of the issue with your pump.As part of our business model, we operate through local distributors with whom we maintain a close and collaborative relationship. They are entrusted with handling troubleshooting and customer service on our behalf. Please feel free to reach out to the distributor they may be able to offer assistance with basic troubleshooting before engaging a plumber."Basically, buying this on Amazon and installing it yourself effectively voids the warranty. The problem resolved itself for the most part, but I'm sure this pump won't last nearly as long as the one I replaced. It is quieter performs better than the old model, worthy of 5 stars, however their sleezy customer service cost them 3 stars. Grundfos, do better!

Good pump, terrible order handling
I ran the prior Grundfos pump model (MQ series) for more than a decade before it ultimately quit. The replacement pump is the Scala 1. I've only had it installed for a week, but it seems to be running fine.If you're replacing a MQ pump, be aware that the outlet port on the Scala is in a different location... not a big deal, but you may have to modify your outlet line (I was able to accommodate by using a one inch flex line). What was lacking in this order process was the provider. The first pump sent to me had clearly been a return... it was dirty and the internal packaging material was crumpled. Obviously I returned it. The second pump sent was missing the manual, although the pump itself seemed fine. Time will tell, but I'm suspicious of this vendor.
