I recently discovered I have wavy hair, and was experimenting different products on my hair. My hair is wavy and poofy when it is air dryed with no products, and the regular curly girl method weighs my hair down and doesn't hold my waves. I do not use curl cream or leave ins because it makes my hair too heavy and greasy.That being said, this is the perfect gel for my hair. I just wash my hair, towel dry it, apply the gel with prayer hands, and scrunch it with more gel. I'm definitely using less gel compared to other brands, but the definition is way better, and the frizziness is gone. My favorite gel used to be not your mothers gel (hold3) but that still made my hair frizzy even after the gel cast. I am so happy that I gave this a shot. Definitely my new favorite gel!!!

Not a hard hold gel. More of a medium hold. But it works well if that's what you need.

I have very dry very frizzy hair. I have tried many many Gels to tame the frizz. This is the first time I Have used a gel that actually works To tame the frizz and actually provide shine. I can't sing The praises of this products enough. My hair is gray with a lot of white. And when I tell you that my hair was dry.I mean that generally the next day I have no shine Because my hair has absorbed all the Products. Cantu It's the first product that I have used.That is actually working to transform my hair With this glue job being the Jewel in the crown. My routine is as follows: In the shower Iwash and condition my hair with Purple Enleve by loreal to keep my hair from getting yellow. Then on dripping, soaking wet hair, I put in the Cantu Curl Cream followed by Cantu Twist and Shine. Then I plop my hair into a micro fiber towel and leave it wrapped until i dry myself and get dressed. I then remove the towel and spread a generous amount of Cantu Glue Gel...over a tablespoon...all over my hair and crunch it making sure I hear the squish. Before I began to use the Cantu Glue Gel I still got frizz. That's gone now though. My hair shines without any frizz. It's a miracle. Don't let the gooey texture put you off. It smells great and it leaves your hair shiney, frizz free and beautiful.

Received this product today not tryed it yet but l have bought whole range of this products and very pleased in deed with them good for curly hair l will keep buying these products now and affordable

This is a good gel. It is messy and it’s stringy. So for anyone following CG. Be prepared for a little frizz as it’s very difficult to get product on while maintaining clumps.It also doesn’t give a solid cast but a good enough one for 3 days of hair.

This is now holy grail for me - I use it as my last step after washing my hair and using the cantu curl activator cream (which is also amazing!). I have thick waist length 2b-2c wavy hair. When my hair is still sopping wet, I use a thick 10p amount for half of my hair. I rub the gel between my hands and then use the praying hands method to smooth the product through my hair and then scrunch upwards. It helps my curl clumps form immediately. After then scrunching with a micro fibre towel and diffusing, it leaves a great gel cast which easily scrunches out to leave soft and defined curls. Will defo repurchase :-)

Great hold and reworkable without the flakiness of a standard gel. My curls love love love the cantu range my hair is so much healthier and not as frizzy
