Using since 1 yr 5 months and still working great.
It's too small and doesn't take up much space. After inserting it into the USB port, you won't even feel that it's inserted and it has enough space to swiftly pull it out of the USB port. It's a very good product which is very portable and I would recommend everyone to buy this.I have it for the past 1 yr. 5 months and works great. No issues at all.Just remember to install the CD products before you plug it into the USB port.

The most stable one for RaspberryPi
After trying 4 different USB WiFi adapters for using on my RaspberryPi (OpenElec) powered Media Centre, this is the only one that ran stably throughout repeated BlueRay quality video playback from a network drive.+ Sustained high speeds+ Stable Power consumption (below 500ma)+ Running 24x7 without connection drop+ Great compatibility with almost all Linux variants- Lacks 5Ghz support- Average (acceptable) range. (I fact, very good range considering the power consumption and throughput.)

Good product but not recommended for beginners and Linux users
I purchased this product (HW Rev E1, Firmware Version 5.0) for enabling Wi-Fi in my Raspberry Pi 2. The seller (Techie Deals) is good and delivered the item timely with great packaging, warranty, invoice etc. Here are the details of my experience of using this product so far after 2 weeks:The product is good in terms of quality. However, there are some caveats for users who would want it to be a generic Wi Fi enabler. Firstly, there are issues configuring it with older systems running Win XP (sp3). The driver CD has software drivers which are supposed to work with most flavors of Win *, but I got system errors while attempting to use it for Win XP and I believe those errors could be found in pre-XP systems as well.Secondly, there are few versions of hardware revision available, notably HW rev A1, B1 and E1. As a consequence, I presume that the E1 (the latest in HW revisions) drivers are not yet stable for all systems. Moreover, there is no single place for D-Link drivers for this device, as a result it can be very confusing for typical users to find the "right" drivers and as observed above the driver CD is of not much help. One can try find drivers from D-Link from the following places:http://support.dlink.com.au/download/download.aspx?product=DWA-131http://tsd.dlink.com.tw/downloads2008detailgo.aspFinally, it is pain to make this work in Linux boxes, again because of the driver software not being available easily. There is no Linux driver available in the included driver CD and one needs to download the source and compile it themselves (and that is not for the faint hearts!). Despite being an advanced user of Linux it was almost impossible at first to configure it for Raspberry Pi 2 (Raspbian Kernel 3.18.*-v7+). The default driver in Raspbian is for Realtek 8192cu, which does not work for E1 hardware revision. I had to download community compiled drivers from Raspberry forums and install the kernel module for Realtek 8192eu manually and then configure WPA Supplicant in order to make it work. One can refer to the following link in order to try making it work with latest Raspberry Pi 2:http://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=33588Overall, this product is great provided you are okay to deal with driver issues to the extent of becoming a geek to make this work!
