Easyinsmile5 Pack Yellow - Orthodontic Elastic -for Braces - Dental Rubber Bands (5/16", 3.5 oz)

I ordered these on March 3rd 2021 in the middle of the night through Prime Amazon. I was running very low on my usual elastics, 3/16 (4.8mm), bands from the orthodontist. I was not able to go to my orthodontist and they were not able to send me new elastics due to the current COVID-19 restrictions without an appointment.So I crossed my fingers and hoped for the best. These arrived today March 5th 2021 at 12:39 p.m.I opened the package and the picture did vary from what I ordered, and it did say on the advertisement that the picture would vary, so that didn't surprise me. My package had the rabbit on it and I flipped it over and it was 3/16 cut for 4.8mm just like I needed. So I took out my elastics from last night, brushed my teeth, and put these in. They are very sturdy. The ones that I get from my orthodontist are extra heavy, non latex , and these are just extra strength latex, however they feel exactly the same to me.Now keep in mind that these are latex and the ones that you usually get from the orthodontist are non latex. If you are allergic to latex, please, please, do not get these.They are a great value for the money. I got five packs of 100, so it's 500 elastics for $10 with free shipping through Prime but shipping was pretty low without Prime, about two and change.Also , I've seen a lot of reviews on elastics saying that the person opened their mouth and the elastics broke or they tried to eat and they broke. You are not supposed to eat with elastics in. You are to take them out, eat, and then put new ones in.These are not meant to be left in while you eat because they will indeed break.They are to be worn when you are not eating; just throughout the day. Yes you can talk with them, yes your speech sounds funny, that's what braces do. And sometimes depending on your treatment plan, you have to wear double ones at night.I did put in double elastics just to try it out for at night a few minutes ago here, and they work just fine. They're nice and sturdy like my ones from the orthodontist.I would give it five stars. They are also easy to use. Some people use a little tool to get them on the hooks of the braces, I just use my fingers. I would recommend these if you're in a bind and you need some elastics right away within a day or two. Go ahead and order these, just double check that you are ordering the correct size. You won't be disappointed.

These are truly great orthodontic bands. They are thicker than what the office gave and these don't break. My son went through a bag of theirs in 3 days. They just kept breaking. These are thicker and last longer which is great. And you can't go wrong because they are also very economical and there's 5 packs of 100. We're very satisfied.

Better than the ones the dentist gave me. Stays firm when stretched throughout the nite.

This elastics are perfect! They are the same ones that my orthodontist gave me. I been using this over a month and never broken.
