It works
I did remove the shine with a nail filer , I applied it over my toes about 4 times and went on to clean my house, let it sit for about 8 minutes I noticed it cracking (which was a good sign) I took my nail pusher and scraped it off very easy to remove without damaging your nail bed so I would say it works! The whole process for me took maybe 15 minutes

Doesn't burn skin
I love this product it does what it says and doesn't burn the skin at all. I purchased a different kind and it burned my skin and left me with a sore. I will make sure to always purchase this particular brand as I do my own nails.
