Really helps you easy to learn I can already read after 2 hours!!! The only thing I will say is page 12, last word it says “접” is “san”(산) when in fact it is actually “jeob”...typo probably but can be confusing!!

Really delighted with my book which I’ve started using. The explanations are very simple and there are basic instructions to follow. Even after a few hours, it’s started to make sense. I’ve ordered a Korean dictionary to accompany this and hopefully, build on skills. Reasonable priced book to get me going on my Korean journey!

It's a good starting place to learn the basics eg the alphabet and writing system. With plenty of practice space and useful easy to remember tips. The only thing that would make this better if it included an audio file in any form. But there is a warning about this at the beginning of the book. Although that would change the price it would be useful. However I'm very happy with my purchase!

The book is good, a few incorrect words, but you can find much better online PDF’s or lessons for free. Eg, TalkToMeInKorean is a really good page that has free pdfs for hundreds of lessons from beginner to fluent. There are other websites and resources that help with speaking Korean (TalkToMeInKorean only really teaches writing) so I’d use the free ones rather than paying for a book that is slightly incorrect and won’t be much use!!!

I highly suggest you get this book if you are a beginner and want to learn hangul! I was quite worried when flicking through the pages as it looked hard but once you read it it’s so helpful and I’ve learnt so much just by reading a few pages! Definitely recommend!!
