By far, the best Bluetooth phone earpiece I've ever owned
This the one, trust me. I've gone thru several bluetooth earpieces (so far 8), different designs, different manufacturers, but this one is by far the best one. My search is over.I love the fit, it hangs on the back of the ear so no issues with it coming loose and falling out or off, and the earpiece fits snug in the ear. Its more like an ear bud, its got a rubber tip that seals so well with the ear, that it is loud when turned on, so first thing I have to do is turn it down.Everyone says clarity is great, no distortion or problem hearing me (vs when using the Plantronics M180, people said I sounded muffled and couldnt hear me, and I could never get it to stay in my ear, always had to use the hook attachment, and even then it would come loose, and I would continually have to try to re-insert it while it dangled from the hook). Its similar to my Plantronics Voyager, but without the mike arm that swings down by your cheek which made it more cumbersome to just toss into your pocket without breaking it, and difficult to fish it back out. It too had good sound quality, but I want an earpiece that I can just toss in my shirt pocket and sometimes shorts pocket and easily get it back out without damaging it. I was concerned not having that boom arm would affect sound quality, but everyone says its the most clear I've sounded when talking to them.It comes with a small case (shown above) for a little extra protection, and I usually use it, but no problem if I just toss it in my shirt pocket without the case.I've had it 3 days, so there is probably some discovery left, but it does everything I want a bluetooth earpiece to do: Handle phone calls, handle music (tho I usually use my stereo bluetooth for music), allow voice commnds.I miss the Plantronics telling me how many hours of battery life were left, but I can see that if I go to bluetooth settings on my phone, and show connections, where it shows % of battery left under the device name. I often forget to turn off my earpiece when done, so I miss being able to just tap the Plantronics button to see if I forgot to turn it off or not. If I take it off and tap the power button, there is a blue light (on) or red or no light (off)... Or I can look at attached bluetooth devices, or I can just press & hold the on/off button. It called the A8, I renamed it A8-Red, to differentiate from the other blue tooth devices I've tried and have not yet removed: M26-Blue, PLT_M180-White, AB-Shutter3, PLT_VoyagerPro, PLT_BB903+ (stereo headset), etc.Summary: Ease of use, secure fit, sound quality = 2 thumbs up.

Weird design
Doesn't stay in my ear. Always have to adjust it for a good fit and the noise cancelling is not good unless you are around running water or something with constant frequency these won't work.

Perfect for my needs
I'm deaf in one ear, so having a headphone that basically converts all my stereo music to mono was what I was initially after. This unit has the bonus that the earpiece is reversible, so it doesn't matter which ear you want to wear it in. I didn't intend to use it for phone calls, until I found out how handy it is for just that purpose, and how well the microphone picks up my voice - now I don't use anything else. It's so lightweight and comfortable I often forget I'm wearing it. It's possible to connect this to two devices at once, but it's a little persnickety when it comes to switching from one device to the other, especially when I'm currently using the one (for example, listening to music) and want to switch to the other (answering the phone), but I think that's just a Bluetooth limitation. So long as I'm listening to music through my phone, I'm fine - my phone handles the transition between functions on its own. One minor issue, music-wise, is that the instructions say to use a long press on the volume up button to go to the next track, and a long press on the volume down button to go to the previous track - instead, I have to long-press the volume down to go to the next track, and long-pressing the volume up button doesn't seem to do anything. But since my phone is usually with me when I'm listening to music (so I don't walk out of Bluetooth range), I can just use it in the rare cases when I want/need to go to the previous track. Otherwise this is perfect for me. If this one ever gives out on me, I will be buying another just like it.
