Purchased 6 of these glasses from a department store. Amazon has a better price. These glasses are very nice. They have a substantial feel and weight. They are very high quality. Very pleased with these glasses. Best of all, they are dishwasher safe. One other fact this site fails to mention is that these glasses resist discoloration/filming over time when washed in the dishwasher. This bit of info was on the site info when I purchased them from the department store.

Villeroy and Boch makes a weighty, solid-feeling glass. While it is crystal, it can be washed in the dishwasher. I have the complete set of these glasses in all sizes. The price on Amazon was less than it would cost to order replacements from the department store where I made the original purchase. With free Prime delivery, this was a deal!

This was given to my son with a bottle of Hendricks gin. It was a classy beautiful glass with a very classy gin. He, and I both love the quality of the glass. Any thing put in this glass would look delicious.
