Deborah Lippmann Gel Lab Pro Nail Polish Treatment Enriched for Nail Health, Wear, and Shine No Animal Testing, 21 Free, Vegan Neutral Colors

This is a full coverage white (not sheer) that has good staying power - I use with base and top coat and I can get just about a week out of one 3 coat application. My natural nails are a mess but this polish really looks great - I tried others but I always come back to Deborah Lippmann!

In general, I really like Deborah Lippman polishes for their shine, cushion and almost gel-manicure-like final look, and the fact that they lack some toxic ingredients. My only complaint is that while some colors go on great, others can be a royal pain-in-the-butt to get to go on smoothly with no streaking and often require several coats that take forever to dry.

Stargasm is indeed a rose gold. Not chrome and not glittery - more like gold sparkle in a peachy rose overall effect. The application of this polish is astoundingly smooth. Wonderful wide brush. It is everything they say it is and a huge perk that it is 7-free! The one complaint is that the colors are not well represented. I went to the Deborah Lippmann website and found the same problem. Even now that I have several other colors direct from her website, I can't get comfortable with the comparisons of web to real life. The color names don't help too much , so you just have to trust and figure you can't go too wrong.

I have used so many brands over the years, from the cheapest drugstore brands to Chanel. I have only tried a few shades of the Lippman, Whatever Lola Wants being my favorite…a silvery pale cool neutral with just a touch of lilac…a unique, pretty shade that goes with everything. But most importantly, this polish lasts! I wash my hands a lot at work, up to 20 times a night, and I can get almost a week out of this polish without a chip. Eventually the edges start to wear off, but it still looks fine. Other brands, even with a top coat, sometimes I don’t even make it a day without chips. This polish also stays fairly thin, still usable until you empty the bottle. Dries pretty fast too. If I can get a week out of a polishing, I’m pretty happy. Worth every penny.

I recently had my nails done at a salon and had Deborah Lippmann Brand New Day used, it was lovely and I got lots of compliments and people asking for this great neutral shade. I ordered here since I sent a message on the Deborah Lippmann site asking if they had regular polish as opposed to gel (I don’t want to deal with gel) and never heard back, so I took a chance. This arrived and I painted a nail with it last night, and it is not the color used at the salon at all. I just paid $20 for clear polish. Very disappointed.

Dried fast. Lasts long. Good pigment.
