It can be a bit tough to put in at first but it does what it's supposed to. But sometimes it can be a bit slow to filter

Bought these as an alternative to auqaphor as they don't seem to deliver to Ireland, but funny enough are happy enough to deliver their jugs.These work well, no after taste, filter quite quickly, seal well onto the water hopper (noticed some other cartridges have difficulty sealing and not fitting well enough so that you're not actually getting the water filtered at all because it's running through the gaps around the sides) so yes these are really good.

We invested in a Brita jug 3 months ago. Used the included Brita Maxtra filter and was pleased with the result as we live in a Hard Water area in the UK. Fitted these filters for the 2nd and 3rd month, and you know what….. they don’t taste quite so good….. especially tea made with the filtered water. It is cleaner tasting than the hard water from our tap (unfiltered)….. but tea ….. you can still see some scale/scum when you get down to the dregs of your cuppa. Have bought some Brita filters to confirm that they are better….. will start using them this weekend. Going to bin off these cheap knock-offs when I confirm it.**Update** - Have now tried the new Brita filter in it……. And can confirm it does taste better
