Good chair, missses some key easy details on being an accurate reprodcution.
Chair is good quality, though I'm disappointed. There are a few details that easily distinguish it from the 'real' thing.1. Inside of wood ply is unfinished. You can see this when sitting in the chair and looking down at the arm rest area.2. Outside edges of ply are finished poorly. Actually look unfinished. The 'real' chair has a nice satin urethane on the ply edges.3. Ottoman sits almost an inch higher than the 'real' ottoman. This is an odd oversight.4. The flex in the rubber cushions are not as flexy as the 'real' chair.5. The chair has just the tiniest amount of back/forth play in the base. Seems to be due to a plastic sleeve that's used.For $800 is this chair worth it? Sure. Unless you're like me and are going to notice the little details and lament over the fact you didn't buy the real thing.. lol.Are there details that were easily overlooked as a reproduction that make it disappointing? Yes. The good side:1. Chair was packaged extremely well, and fast shipping.2. Leather is great quality.3. Ply veneer is beautiful and on-par with 'real' chair.4. Chair is very comfortable.
