This has a nice loud ring, and the light flashes brightly. I feel all women walking or travelling along or small group need these! I am very happy!

The Personal Alarm Keychain is a compact guardian! Loud and attention-grabbing, it provides a sense of security. A must-have for personal safety, especially for women on the go.

This device is easy to use and hold. It is loud enough to draw attention to yourself if walking in neighborhoods or parking structures, but I am not certain of its usefulness outdoors/in the wilderness. It also, has a small light that can be used as you are walking to your car (in a parking structure) or down a darkened hallway/walkway. As others have noted, it adds a degree of safety, but you, first and foremost, have to be mindful of where you are and be smart about walking alone (regardless of time of day). This device will not save you from a real life threatening situation, but it will alert others around you and, possibly, by you time to get away to a safer (public) location or bring others to your location.

Item came as described. Alarm is loud, LED light works. Not sure how helpful this would be in a closed environment.

I wanted something I could attach to my keys or my coat zipper for quick access . Which this does perfectly ! It’s also very loud which is great. It gives me a sense of security when walking around the city .
