Hetero male here who bought this in anticipation of an upcoming vasectomy who wanted to get something a little premium for post surgery support. So yes, probably not the typical customer.I have a 44" waist and ordered a XXL knowing it would be a bit intentionally tight. I got it and tried it on and oh man my world changed. It is so incredible comfortable I ended up wearing it to work the next day to give it a test run.The fabric is a very sheer, super soft, very premium feeling, mesh nylon with a lot of stretch to it. You're not hiding anything with this on. The fabric will mostly stretch with you, but if you get fully excited the skin of your member will poke through the holes in the fabric. My lady friend really liked touching the fabric.But the pouch is the real surprise here. Gruff Pup lists only that it's a bulge boosting pouch and does not explain how it works or show any pictures of it anywhere. I've included plenty of pictures. There's an extra panel that comes out of the pouch and provides the perfect U shaped lift up. You do have to make some deliberate motions to get in to it when putting these on, but it is so worth the effort. Throughout the day it gives a constant "how's your uncle?" lift that does not dig in or become uncomfortable in any way. It can also be worn forward which defeats the pouch. You lose the special feel, but it still works as a jock. I'm not sure why you'd do this, but you can.The other surprise was just how big the pouch is. I'm average if not a bit on the smaller side (grower), and this is not loose on me. There's so much stretch that a shower could wear this just as well in my opinion. I think the support will be good when I get my procedure, but I'll have to report back on that.The waist band is also another really nice feature. Again, I know I ordered smaller intentionally and it is true to size. With it being so wide the squeeze is distributed evenly around and does not dig in. I have a gut and it does not fold over so far either.The rings on the straps are my only slight dislike. I know they're there for the visual, and they do look nice, but over the course of the day they do dig in a bit and leave a mark. The straps themselves are nice and just substantial enough to not be irritating. All the stitching is really nice and high quality. I can't even feel the tag while wearing.If you're on the fence because of the price go for it. These are really nice and the pouch alone is worth it.Note: the ball I used in the pictures is a rubber lacrosse ball, about the size of a tennis ball.Update post vasectomy: I ended up with jock straps with pouches for ice packs the first few days, but this came in to play later when I went back to work. The ball lifting pouch is really nice because it pushes everything away which lessens the likelihood of sitting hard on the boys. The breathable mesh fabric is also really nice to help keep the incision site dry as it heals.

Fits great, little loose but holds everything in the right places, just a bit expensive though
