Works as advertised
I used it to install sound deadening material on the interior of my car and it worked well except in narrow crevices. Good value for money.

Does double duty
I bought this to roll down eterna bond tape, works great and it also works great for rolling sore muscles. LoL

Decent cheap applicator.
Its good for one time or temporary uses. It doesnt smoothly roll as it doesnt use any bearings.2 annoying things with this one. First its screws will come loose very easily and the sides will tear into your material because its not tightened. If you will be doing an entire vehicle or multiple long time uses id suggest finding a better one.

Works as expected, sharp roller edges.
This worked great for my project of installing sound deadener material to my truck. For my application, the edges of the roller were very sharp. Even after sanding down the roller edges to give it a bit of a rounded edge instead of a 90 degree corner, I still cut through some of my material. So, your mileage may vary based on the material you are working with and how you are working with it.It fit great in my hand. The bright yellow roller made it easy to spot amongst the other tools I was using at the time. I had zero issues with the function of the moving parts. This feels like a sturdy tool that can be used on a daily basis for a long time if needed.

Not For Sushi Roller
Let’s be honest. This review is super simple.Handle? FitsRoller? RollsQuality? GoodThis roller helps you flatten out car sound deadening matting. The clear-greenish roller isn’t translucent enough to see through during use but that’s not important. It’s hard plastic handle and firm rubber roller are not for sushi or pastry, one purpose, flatten and secure butyl matting.Actually you can also use it on yourself or a partner as a massage roller too but so smooth you don’t feel much but enough about my ex-wife.

Came Apart First Use
Using this roller to install KilMat in my 1972 VW. Th first use it came apart within minutes of using it. The roller assembly came out of the handle. It did not break and I just had to insert it back into the handle and and twist it so it would stay in place. I was able to complete my project.

Great and gets close to edges
This worked great to help rub out the Dynamat in my new van. It doesn't have a bolt and nut so nothing to stick out the side making it easy to get close to the edges.

Good sound deadener
As with all things preparation os important. After thoroughly cleaning the area with Isopropol Alcohol and allowing it to dry the sound deadener was applied. The area was a bit difficult and after some trial and error the sound deadening was appied. It effectively covered both vertical and horizontal surfaces and by using the roller it adhered easily. After a test drive post application there was a noticeable drop in road noise.

Did the job!
Perfect and robust enough to really lean on to get the sound deadening sheets into place.
