Platinum Fountain Pen #3776 Century Broad Red

I have a number of fountain pens, including several other Platinum pen models. I consider the brand to good value for money. Quality control is excellent and I've never experienced a problem with their pens. I can't say that about all pens from different, more expensive, makers. I know considerations of price depend on the individual, but in the world of fountain pens, Platinum would be considered moderately priced, but excellent in quality. In today's world, how often do those two characteristics go hand in hand?

Pen and packing is good. But this is the first time in my last 20 years to buy a premium pen and not seeing a converter included.

Excellent writer. The gold broad nib gives a lovely writing experience and is a great alternative to a montblanc.

I have 3776 in five sizes. This Broad nib is the worst! It might be because of manufacturing defect or may be the feed does not cope with the broadness? The fine, uef, sf are perfect.
